the Prophet ﷺ met a caravan at al-Rawḥā’ and said, “Who are the people?” They said, “The Muslims.” They said, “Who are you?” He said, “The Messenger of Allah!” Then a woman lifted up a child to him and said, “Is there Ḥajj for this one?” He said, “Yes, and you will have a reward.”

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ لَقِيَ رَكْبًا بِالرَّوْحَاءِ فَقَالَ: «مَنِ الْقَوْمُ؟» قَالُوا: الْمُسْلِمُونَ، فَقَالُوا مَنْ أَنْتَ؟ قَالَ: «رَسُولُ اللَّهِ!» فَرَفَعَتْ إِلَيْهِ امْرَأَةٌ صَبِيًّا فَقَالَتْ: أَلِهَذَا حَجٌّ؟ قَالَ: «نَعَمْ، وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ۔»

A woman lifted up her child and said: Messenger of Allah, would the child be credited with having performed the Hajj? Thereupon he said: Yes, and there would be a reward for you.

رَفَعَتِ امْرَأَةٌ صَبِيًّا لَهَا فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلِهَذَا حَجٌّ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ

A woman lifted a child and said: Messenger of Allah, would he be credited with Hajj? He said: Yes. and for you there would be a reward.

أَنَّ امْرَأَةً رَفَعَتْ صَبِيًّا فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلِهَذَا حَجٌّ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ

she took her child by his arm and lifted him from her litter at the camel. She said Messenger of Allah (SWAS) can this (child) be credited with having performed Hajj. He replied Yes, and you will have a reward.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِالرَّوْحَاءِ فَلَقِيَ رَكْبًا فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ فَقَالَ مَنِ الْقَوْمُ فَقَالُوا الْمُسْلِمُونَ فَقَالُوا فَمَنْ أَنْتُمْ قَالُوا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَفَزِعَتِ امْرَأَةٌ فَأَخَذَتْ بِعَضُدِ صَبِيٍّ فَأَخْرَجَتْهُ مِنْ مِحَفَّتِهَا فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَلْ لِهَذَا حَجٌّ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ

"A woman held a boy of hers up for the Messenger of Allah and said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Is there Hajj for this one' He said: 'Yes, and you will be rewarded.'"

رَفَعَتِ امْرَأَةٌ صَبِيًّا لَهَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلِهَذَا حَجٌّ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ حَدِيثُ جَابِرٍ حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ

"I asked Jabir: 'Is badger kind of game animal?' He said: 'Yes.'" He said: "I said: 'Should I eat it?' He said: 'Yes.'" He said: 'I said: 'Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say that ?' He said: 'Yes.'"

قُلْتُ لَهُ أَقَالَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ نَعَمْ

a woman helf up a child of hers to the Messenger of Allah and said: "O Messenger of Allah, is there Hajj for this one?" He said: "Yes, and you will be rewarded. (Sahih) "

أَنَّ امْرَأَةً رَفَعَتْ صَبِيًّا لَهَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلِهَذَا حَجٌّ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ

"A woman lifted up a child of hers from a howdah (litter) and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, is there Hajj for this one?' He said: 'Yes, and you will be rewarded.'''(sahih)

رَفَعَتِ امْرَأَةٌ صَبِيًّا لَهَا مِنْ هَوْدَجٍ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلِهَذَا حَجٌّ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ

"The Messenger of Allah set out and when he was in Ar-Rawha he met some people and said: 'Who are you?' They said: 'Muslins.' They said: 'Who are you?' They said: 'The Messenger of Allah.' A woman brought a child out of the litter and said: 'Is there Hajj for this one?' He said" "Yes, and you will be rewarded.'''(Shih)

صَدَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَلَمَّا كَانَ بِالرَّوْحَاءِ لَقِيَ قَوْمًا فَقَالَ مَنْ أَنْتُمْ قَالُوا الْمُسْلِمُونَ قَالُوا مَنْ أَنْتُمْ قَالُوا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ قَالَ فَأَخْرَجَتِ امْرَأَةٌ صَبِيًّا مِنَ الْمِحَفَّةِ فَقَالَتْ أَلِهَذَا حَجٌّ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ

the Messenger of Allah passed by a woman when she was in her seclusion and had a child with her. She said: "Is there Hajj for this one?'' He said: "Yes, and you will be rewarded.''(sahih)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَرَّ بِامْرَأَةٍ وَهِيَ فِي خِدْرِهَا مَعَهَا صَبِيٌّ فَقَالَتْ أَلِهَذَا حَجٌّ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ

“A woman held up a child of hers to the Prophet ﷺ during Hajj and said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, is there Hajj for this one?’ He said: ‘Yes, and you will be rewarded.’”

رَفَعَتِ امْرَأَةٌ صَبِيًّا لَهَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي حَجَّتِهِ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلِهَذَا حَجٌّ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ

she took her child by his arm and lifted him from her litter at the camel. She said Messenger of Allah (SWAS) can this (child) be credited with having performed Hajj. He replied Yes, and you will have a reward. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1736)

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِالرَّوْحَاءِ فَلَقِيَ رَكْبًا فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ فَقَالَ مَنِ القَوْمُ؟ قَالُوا الْمُسْلِمُونَ قَالُوا فَمَنْ أَنْتُمْ؟ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ فَفَزِعَتِ امْرَأَةٌ فَأَخَذَتْ بِعَضُدِ صَبِيٍّ فَأَخْرَجَتْهُ مِنْ مِحَفَّتِهَافَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ هَلْ لِهَذَا حَجٌّ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ passed by a woman who had a child in her lap. He took hold of his finger and she asked, "O Messenger of Allah, does this child have a reward (in the Hereafter)?" He replied, "Yes, and you will also have a reward."

مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَلَى امْرَأَةٍ وَمَعَهَا صَبِيٌّ لَهَا فِي مِحَفَّةٍ فَأَخَذَتْ بِضَبْعِهِ فَقَالَتْ يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ أَلِهَذَا حَجٌّ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ

[AI] "O Messenger of Allah, is there a reward for this?" He replied, "Yes, and you will also be rewarded."

يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ هَلْ لِهَذَا حَجٌّ؟ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ

A woman lifted up her child and said: Messenger of Allah, would the child be credited with having performed the Hajj? Thereupon he said: Yes, and there would be a reward for you. (Using translation from Muslim 1336b)

يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَلِهَذَا حَجٌّ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ

“A woman held up a child of hers to the Prophet ﷺ during Hajj and said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, is there Hajj for this one?’ He said: ‘Yes, and you will be rewarded.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2910)

أَنَّ امْرَأَةً رَفَعَتْ صَبِيًّا لَهَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَلِهَذَا حَجٌّ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibrahim ibn Uqba from Kurayb the mawla of Abdullah ibn Abbas from Ibn Abbas that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed a woman in a litter and it was said to her, "This is the Messenger of Allah ﷺ" and she took the forearms of a young boy who was with her and said, "Does this one have a hajj, Messenger of Allah?" and he said, "Yes, and you have a reward."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَرَّ بِامْرَأَةٍ وَهِيَ فِي مِحَفَّتِهَا فَقِيلَ لَهَا هَذَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَأَخَذَتْ بِضَبْعَىْ صَبِيٍّ كَانَ مَعَهَا فَقَالَتْ أَلِهَذَا حَجٌّ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ

she took her child by his arm and lifted him from her litter at the camel. She said Messenger of Allah (SWAS) can this (child) be credited with having performed Hajj. He replied Yes, and you will have a reward. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1736)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَدَرَ مِنْ مَكَّةَ فَلَمَّا كَانَ بِالرَّوْحَاءِ اسْتَقْبَلَهُ رَكْبٌ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ فَقَالَ «مَنِ الْقَوْمُ؟ » قَالُوا الْمُسْلِمُونَ فَمَنْ أَنْتُمْ؟ قَالَ «رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ» فَفَزِعَتِ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْهُمْ فَرَفَعَتْ صَبِيًّا لَهَا مِنْ مِحَفَّةٍ وَأَخَذَتْ بِعَضَلَتِهِ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَلْ لِهَذَا حَجٌّ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by a woman, and it was said to her, "Is this the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ?" So she took hold of the arm of a young boy who was with her and she said, "Is he performing Hajj, O Messenger of Allah ﷺ ?" He said, "Yes, and you will receive a reward."

قَالَ مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِامْرَأَةٍ وَهِيَ فِي مَحْمَلِهَا مَعَهَا صَبِيٌّ فَأَخَذَتِ الصَّبِيَّ بِيَدَيْهَا فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسولَ اللهِ هَلْ لِهذَا حَجٌّ؟ قَالَ نَعم ولكَ أجْرٌ

فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسولَ اللهِ ألِهذَا حَجٌّ؟ قَالَ نَعم ولكَ أجْرٌ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by a woman in her abode and she brought out a child. She asked, "O Prophet of Allah, is this child performing Hajj?" He said, "Yes, and you will have reward for it."

مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِامْرَأَةٍ فِي مِحَفَّتِهَا فَأَخْرَجَتْ صَبِيًّا فَقَالَتْ يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ أَلِهَذَا حَجٌّ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ»

[AI] A woman brought a young boy to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and asked, "Is this child performing Hajj?" He replied, "Yes, and you will be rewarded."

رَفَعَتِ امْرَأَةٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ صَبِيًّا فَقَالَتْ أَلِهَذَا حَجٌّ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ»

A woman lifted up her child and said: Messenger of Allah, would the child be credited with having performed the Hajj? Thereupon he said: Yes, and there would be a reward for you. (Using translation from Muslim 1336b)

A woman lifted up her child and said: Messenger of Allah, would the child be credited with having performed the Hajj? Thereupon he said: Yes, and there would be a reward for you. (Using translation from Muslim 1336b)

صَدَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَلَمَّا كَانَ بِالرَّوْحَاءِ لَقِيَ قَوْمًا قَالَ «مَنْ أَنْتُمْ؟» قَالُوا الْمُسْلِمُونَ قَالُوا مَنْ أَنْتُمْ؟ قَالُوا «رُسُلُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ» قَالَ فَأَخْرَجَتِ امْرَأَةٌ صَبِيًّا مِنَ الْمِحَفَّةِ فَقَالَتْ أَلِهَذَا حَجٌّ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ»

[AI] That the Prophet ﷺ traveled and when he arrived in Al-Rawha, he met a group of people and greeted them. He asked them who they were, and they replied that they were Muslims. He then asked, "Who are these people?" They answered, "They are Muslims." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised a young boy to him, who was with a woman, and she asked him, "O Messenger of Allah, is this child performing Hajj?" He replied, "Yes, and you will be rewarded as well."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَفَلَ فَلَمَّا كَانَ بِالرَّوْحَاءِ لَقِيَ رَكْبًا فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَقَالَ مَنِ الْقَوْمُ؟ فَقَالُوا الْمُسْلِمُونَ فَمَنِ الْقَوْمُ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَرَفَعَتْ إِلَيْهِ امْرَأَةٌ صَبِيًّا لَهَا مِنْ مِحَفَّةٍ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَلِهَذَا حَجٌّ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ

[AI] A woman raised her son in a cradle and breastfed him on the way to Mecca. She asked, "O Messenger of Allah, is this considered Hajj?" He replied, "Yes, you will receive the reward for it, or as they say."

رَفَعَتِ امْرَأَةٌ ابْنًا لَهَا فِي مِحَفَّةٍ تُرْضِعُهُ فِي طَرِيقِ مَكَّةَ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَلِهَذَا حَجٌّ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ لَكِ أَجْرٌ أَوْ كَمَا قَالَ

“A woman held up a child of hers to the Prophet ﷺ during Hajj and said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, is there Hajj for this one?’ He said: ‘Yes, and you will be rewarded.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2910)

رَفَعَتِ امْرَأَةٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ صَبِيًّا فَقَالَتْ أَلِهَذَا حَجٌّ؟ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ نَعَمْ وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ

[AI] While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was walking on the road to Makkah, a woman called out to him from a rocky area, and she grabbed the shoulder of a little boy and lifted him up. She asked, "Is this boy performing Hajj, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied to her, "He is performing Hajj, and you will also receive the reward."

بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَسِيرُ بِطَرِيقِ مَكَّةَ كَلَّمَتْهُ امْرَأَةٌ فِي مِحَفَّةٍ لَهَا وَأَخَذَتْ بِعَضُدِ صَبِيٍّ فَرَفَعَتْهُ فَقَالَتْ أَلِهَذَا حَجٌّ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ لَهُ حَجٌّ وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ

"عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: اطَّلَعَتِ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ هَوْدَجٍ لَهَا وَمَعَهَا صَبِىٌّ فَقَالَتْ: يا رَسُولَ الله: أَلِهَذَا حَجٌّ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ".

" عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِى المَسِيرِ بِعَرَفَةَ فَأَخْرَجَتِ امْرَأَةٌ صَبِيًا لَهَا مِنْ هَوْدَجٍ، فَقَالَتْ: يَارَسُولَ اللهِ! الِهَذَا حَجٌّ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، وَلَكِ أجْرٌ".
