[Machine] When death approaches me, do not strike me forcefully, nor follow me with a burning torch. Hurry me quickly, for I have heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "When a righteous man is placed on his deathbed, he says: 'Advance me, advance me!' And when a wicked man is placed on his deathbed, he says: 'Oh woe to me, where are you taking me?'"  

حِينَ حَضَرَهُ الْمَوْتُ لَا تَضْرِبُوا عَلَيَّ فُسْطَاطًا وَلَا تَتْبَعُونِي بِمِجْمَرٍ وَأَسْرِعُوا بِي فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا وُضِعَ الرَّجُلُ الصَّالِحُ عَلَى سَرِيرِهِ قَالَ قَدِّمُونِي قَدِّمُونِي وَإِذَا وُضِعَ الرَّجُلُ السُّوءُ عَلَى سَرِيرِهِ قَالَ يَا وَيْلَهُ أَيْنَ تَذْهَبُونَ بِي؟  

[Machine] "If I die, do not hit me with a whip or follow me with fire, rather hasten me to my Lord, for I have heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'When a righteous man or servant is placed on his deathbed, he says: Bring me forward, bring me forward.' But when a wicked person is placed upon his deathbed, he says: 'Woe to you! Where are you taking me?'"  

إِذَا مُتُّ فَلَا تَضْرِبُوا عَلَيَّ فُسْطَاطًا وَلَا تَتْبَعُونِي بِنَارٍ وَأَسْرِعُوا بِي إِلَى رَبِّي فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا وُضِعَ الْعَبْدُ أَوِ الرَّجُلُ الصَّالِحُ عَلَى سَرِيرِهِ قَالَ قَدِّمُونِي قَدِّمُونِي وَإِذَا وُضِعَ الرَّجُلُ السَّوْءُ قَالَ وَيْلَكُمْ أَيْنَ تَذْهَبُونَ بِي؟!  

[Machine] "Do not follow me with fire, but rather hurry with me, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Surely, when a believer is laid on his bed, he says, "Hurry with me." And when a disbeliever is laid on his bed, he says, "Woe to me! Where are you taking me?"'."  

لَا تُتْبِعُونِي بِمِجْمَرٍ وَأَسْرِعُوا بِي فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ إِذَا وُضِعَ عَلَى سَرِيرِهِ قَالَ أَسْرِعُوا بِي وَإِذَا وُضِعَ الْكَافِرُ عَلَى سَرِيرِهِ قَالَ وَيْلَاهُ أَيْنَ تَذْهَبُونَ بِي؟  

[Machine] "From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said: 'Indeed, when a person is placed upon his bed, he says, "Send me forward, send me forward!" And when a person is placed upon his bed, he says, "Oh, woe is me! Where are you taking me?"' He meant the believer and the disbeliever."  

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ الْعَبْدَ إِذَا وُضِعَ عَلَى سَرِيرِهِ يَقُولُ قَدِّمُونِي قَدِّمُونِي وَإِنَّ الْعَبْدَ إِذَا وُضِعَ عَلَى سَرِيرِهِ يَقُولُ يَا وَيْلَتِي أَيْنَ تَذْهَبُونَ بِي؟ » يُرِيدُ الْمُسْلِمَ وَالْكَافِرَ  

"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'When the righteous man is placed on his bier, he says: Take me quickly, take me quickly. And when the bad man is placed on his bier he said: Woe to me! Where are you taking me?"' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1908)  

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا وُضِعَ الرَّجُلُ الصَّالِحُ عَلَى سَرِيرِهِ قَالَ قَدِّمُونِي قَدِّمُونِي وَإِذَا وُضِعَ الرَّجُلُ السُّوءِ عَلَى سَرِيرِهِ قَالَ يَا وَيْلَتَا أَيْنَ تَذْهَبُونَ بِي  

"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'When the righteous man is placed on his bier, he says: Take me quickly, take me quickly. And when the bad man is placed on his bier he said: Woe to me! Where are you taking me?"' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1908)   

"إِذَا وُضِع الرَّجلُ الصَّالحُ على سريره قال: قدِّمونِى قدِّمونِى، وإذا وُضِعَ الرجُلُ السُّوءُ على سريره قال: يا وَيلِى، أينَ تذهبونَ بى؟ ".  

"إذَا وُضِعَ المؤمِنُ على سَريرِهِ يقولُ: قدِّموني قدِّمونى، وإذَا وُضِعَ الكافِرُ على سريرِه قال: يا ويلتاهُ إينَ تذْهبونَ بى؟ ".
