that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If anyone sends salawat once upon me, Allah will send blessings ten times upon him.”

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيَّ وَاحِدَةً صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيهِ عَشْرًا»

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Give (in charity) and do not give reluctantly lest Allah should give you in a limited amount; and do not withhold your money lest Allah should withhold it from you."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَنْفِقِي وَلاَ تُحْصِي فَيُحْصِيَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكِ وَلاَ تُوعِي فَيُوعِيَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: He who blesses me once, Allah would bless him ten times.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَىَّ وَاحِدَةً صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ عَشْرًا

Spend and do not calculate, (for) Allah would calculate in your case; and do not hoard, otherwise Allah would be withholding from you.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ انْفَحِي أَوِ انْضَحِي أَوْ أَنْفِقِي وَلاَ تُحْصِي فَيُحْصِيَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكِ وَلاَ تُوعِي فَيُوعِيَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكِ

The Prophet ﷺ said: If anyone invokes blessings on me once, Allah will bless him ten times.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَىَّ وَاحِدَةً صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ عَشْرًا

Aisha counted a number of indigents. AbuDawud said: The other version has: She counted a number of sadaqahs. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Give and do not calculate, so calculation will be made against you.

لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَعْطِي وَلاَ تُحْصِي فَيُحْصِيَ عَلَيْكِ

"Do not wail over me, for no one wailed over the Messenger of Allah." This is an abridgment.

لاَ تَنُوحُوا عَلَىَّ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَمْ يُنَحْ عَلَيْهِ مُخْتَصَرٌ

"Do not count what you give, otherwise Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, will count what He gives to you."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَهَا لاَ تُحْصِي فَيُحْصِيَ اللَّهُ ﷻ عَلَيْكِ

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed in his sandals.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى فِي نَعْلَيْهِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ conveyed (the message) to them, and we seek help from Allah regarding them.

رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فُوا لَهُمْ وَنَسْتَعِينُ اللهَ عَلَيْهِمْ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said to Aisha, "O Aisha, you cannot count, but Allah will count against you."

النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لَهَا يَا عَائِشَةُ لَا تُحْصِي فَيُحْصِي اللهُ عَلَيْكِ

[AI] To me, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Aisha, do not count, for Allah will surely count against you."

لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَا عَائِشَةُ لَا تُحْصِي فَيُحْصِيَ اللهُ عَلَيْكِ

[AI] It is for her, the Prophet ﷺ said, "You cannot count, but you will be counted."

لَهَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لَا تُحْصِي فَيُحْصَى عَلَيْكِ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ advised her not to ride it.

لَهَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لَا تَرْكَبِيهِ

[AI] For the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , I implore you to either disperse or submit, or spend, and do not withhold for surely Allah will awaken against you, and do not calculate for surely Allah will calculate against you.

لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ انْفَحِي أَوْ ارْضَخِي أَوْ أَنْفِقِي وَلَا تُوعِي فَيُوعِيَ اللهُ عَلَيْكِ وَلَا تُحْصِي فَيُحْصِيَ اللهُ عَلَيْكِ

[AI] The translation of the passage into English is:

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her 'Spend or withhold, and do not count, for Allah will count against you. And do not restrict, for Allah will restrict against you.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَهَا أَنْفِقِي أَوْ ارْضَخِي وَلَا تُحْصِي فَيُحْصِيَ اللهُ عَلَيْكِ وَلَا تُوعِي فَيُوعِيَ اللهُ عَلَيْكِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not hurt others, for Allah will cause harm to come upon you."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تُوعِي فَيُوعِيَ اللهُ عَلَيْكِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her, "Spend or sacrifice, and do not count, for then Allah will count against you. Or do not pay attention, for then Allah will pay attention to you."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَهَا أَنْفِقِي أَوْ انْضَحِي وَلَا تُحْصِي فَيُحْصِيَ اللهُ عَلَيْكِ أَوْ لَا تُوعِي فَيُوعِيَ اللهُ عَلَيْكِ

[AI] On the authority of Asmaa bint Abi Bakr, who used to work as a scribe, and on the authority of Abbād ibn Hamzah, who narrated from Asmaa, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her: "Spend (in charity), sacrifice (an animal for Allah), or give freely in abundance, in this manner and that manner, without calculating or counting meticulously, for Allah will certainly provide for you. And do not hold back, lest Allah holds back His blessings from you."

عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَكَانَتْ مُحْصِيَةً وَعَنِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَهَا أَنْفِقِي أَوْ انْضَحِي أَوْ انْفَحِي هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا وَلَا تُوعِي فَيُوعِيَ اللهُ عَلَيْكِ وَلَا تُحْصِي فَيُحْصِي اللهُ عَلَيْكِ

«إِذَا أَنَا مِتُّ فَلَا تَنُوحُوا عَلَيَّ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَمْ يُنَحْ عَلَيْهِ»

[AI] About Asma bint Abi Bakr, whenever she spent something, she would tally it. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her, "Spend and do not tally, for Allah will tally for you. Do not withhold, for Allah will withhold from you."

عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَكَانَتْ إِذَا أَنْفَقَتْ شَيْئًا تُحْصِي فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَنْفِقِي وَلَا تُحْصِي فَيُحْصِيَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكِ وَلَا تُوعِي فَيُوعِيَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكِ»

عَن النَّبِيّ ﷺ قَال لاَ يورد الممرض على المصح

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه لم ينح عليه

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قال لا تسموا العنب الكرم

عَنِ النَّبِي ﷺ قَالَ لا تصروا الإبل والغنم

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لا تحصي فيحصى عليك

[AI] "Aisha was called the Mother of the Believers ﷺ despite not having any children."

«كَنَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَائِشَةَ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ لَهَا»

[AI] "The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Do not count, for you will be counted upon.'"

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تُحْصِي فَيُحْصَى عَلَيْكِ»

[AI] To me, the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "Spend, O Asma, and do this and this and this, and do not count, for Allah will count it for you."

لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَنْفِقِي يَا أَسْمَاءُ وأرْضِخِي هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا وَلَا تُحْصِي فَيُحْصِي اللهُ عَلَيْكِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Spread fragrance, spend (in charity), be humble, and don't count (your acts of kindness) in order to be counted upon. Don't extinguish (good deeds) so that they may not be extinguished against you."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَنْفِحُوا وَأَنْفِقُوا وأَرْضِخُوا وَلَا تُحْصِي فَيُحْصِي عَلَيْكِ وَلَا تُوكِي فَيُوكَى عَلَيْكِ»

[AI] To me, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Spend and do not count, for it will be counted against you."

لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَنْفِقِي وأَرْضِخِي وَلَا تُحْصِي فَيُحْصَى عَلَيْكِ» بَابٌ

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «أَنْفِقِي وَلَا تُوعِي فَيُوعِيَ اللهُ عَلَيْكِ وَلَا تُحْصِي فَيُحْصِيَ اللهُ عَلَيْكِ»

[AI] To me, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded you to spend and sacrifice such and such, and do not count, for Allah will count against you, and do not feel too secure, for Allah will expose it to you.

لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْفِقِي وَانْضَحِي هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا وَلَا تُحْصِي فَيُحْصِيَ اللهُ عَلَيْكِ وَلَا تُوعِي فَيُوعِيَ اللهُ عَلَيْكِ

[AI] Whoever did this, indeed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed whoever did this.

اللهُ مَنْ فَعَلَ هَذَا إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لَعَنَ مَنْ فَعَلَ هَذَا
