He who offers prayer for the dead, for him is (the reward of) one qirat; and he who follows the bier till it is placed in the grave, for him (is the reward of) two qirats. I (Abu Hazim, one of the narrators) said: Abu Huraira, what is a qirat? He said: It is like the hill of Uhud.

He who offered prayer over the dead, but did not follow the bier, for him is the reward of one qirat, and he who followed it, for him is the reward of two qirats. It was asked what the qirats were. He said: The smaller amongst the two is equivalent to Uhud.

“Whoever offers the funeral prayer will have one Qirat and whoever awaits until (the burial) is finished will have two Qirat.” They said: ‘What are these two Qirat?’ He said: ‘Like two mountains.’”

“Whoever offers the funeral prayer will have one Qirat and whoever attends the burial will have two Qirat.” The Prophet ﷺ was asked about the Qirat and he said: “(It is) like Uhud.”

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ, he said, "Whoever prays upon a deceased person will receive a Qirat, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked, 'What is a Qirat?' He replied, 'It is equivalent to the size of Uhud.'"

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever follows a funeral procession and prays for the deceased, he will have one qirat and whoever waits until the burial is complete, he will have two qirats." They asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what are the qirats?" He said, "One of them is equivalent to the size of Mount Uhud."

[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ: "Whoever prays the funeral prayer for a deceased person will receive one Qirat (a unit of reward) and whoever follows the funeral procession until the deceased is placed in the grave will receive two Qirats." I asked Abu Huraira, "What is a Qirat?" He said, "It is equivalent to the size of a mountain called Uhud."
