The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: He who does not recite Umm al-Qur'an is not credited with having observed the prayer.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ صَلاَةَ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَقْتَرِئْ بِأُمِّ الْقُرْآنِ
