When this verse was revealed:" And warn thy nearest kindred," the Messenger of Allah ﷺ set off towards a rock of the hill and ascended the highest of the rocks and then called: 0 sons of 'Abd Manaf! I am a warner; my similitude and your similitude is like a man who saw the enemy and went to guard his people, but, being afraid they might get there before him, he shouted: Be on your guard!

Indeed, my example and your example are like that of a man who sees the enemy and rushes to protect his family, shouting or calling out, 'O morning!'".

[Machine] About Kabeesah ibn Mukhariq and Zuhāyr ibn Amr, they said: When the verse "And warn your nearest kindred" (Surah Ash-Shu'ara, 214) was revealed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ climbed a mountain and stood on top of a rock and began calling out, "O children of 'Abd Manaf, I am only a warner, and my example and yours is like a man who sees the enemy approaching and goes to protect his family, fearful that they might overtake him." He kept calling out and raising his voice, "O morning hours!"

[Machine] "Narrated by Qabeesah ibn Makhariq al-Hilali and Zuhayr ibn Amr: When this verse {And warn your closest kindred} was revealed to the Prophet ﷺ, the Prophet ﷺ went to a mountain called Radmah and climbed to the top of it, then he said, 'O sons of Abdul Muttalib, I am a warner to you. My example is like the example of a man who saw the enemy approaching and rushed to protect his family, fearing that they would be harmed before he reached them. He began to call out, 'O morning! O morning! Have you come? Have you come?'"

My example and your example is like that of a man who sees the enemy coming and hurries to his family to protect them, fearing that they might be harmed. He then calls out, 'O my companions, O my companions, you have been attacked, you have been attacked.'"
