45.44 It Is Recommend To Intercede With Regard To That Which Is Not Unlawful

٤٥۔٤٤ باب اسْتِحْبَابِ الشَّفَاعَةِ فِيمَا لَيْسَ بِحَرَامٍ

Encouraging intercession for those in need

muslim:2627Abū Bakr b. Abī Shaybah > ʿAlī b. Mushir and Ḥafṣ b. Ghiyāth > Burayd b. ʿAbdullāh > Abū Burdah > Abū Mūsá

When a person seeking a need came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he would turn to those sitting with him and say: "Intercede, and you will be rewarded; and let Allah decree upon the tongue of His Prophet whatever He loves."

مسلم:٢٦٢٧حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ وَحَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ عَنْ بُرَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَتَاهُ طَالِبُ حَاجَةٍ أَقْبَلَ عَلَى جُلَسَائِهِ فَقَالَ: «اشْفَعُوا فَلْتُؤْجَرُوا، وَلْيَقْضِ اللَّهُ عَلَى لِسَانِ نَبِيِّهِ مَا أَحَبَّ».
