When the Prophet ﷺ placed the dead in the grave, he said: In the name of Allah, and following the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. This is Muslim's version. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3213)
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا وَضَعَ الْمَيِّتَ فِي الْقَبْرِ قَالَ «بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَعَلَى مِلَّةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ»
When the Prophet ﷺ placed the dead in the grave, he said: In the name of Allah, and following the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. This is Muslim's version.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا وَضَعَ الْمَيِّتَ فِي الْقَبْرِ قَالَ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَعَلَى سُنَّةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ هَذَا لَفْظُ مُسْلِمٍ
[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ said: When you place your deceased in the grave, say "Bismillah" (In the name of Allah) and on the path of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا وَضَعْتُمْ مَوْتَاكُمْ فِي الْقَبْرِ فَقُولُوا بِسْمِ اللهِ وَعَلَى مِلَّةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ
[Machine] The translation of the provided sentence would be: "Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ said, 'When you bury your deceased, say: In the name of Allah and according to the way of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ .' "
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا وَضَعْتُمْ مَوْتَاكُمْ فِي الْقُبُورِ فَقُولُوا بِسْمِ اللهِ وَعَلَى مِلَّةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ
[Machine] He used to say, when a deceased person is placed in the grave, "In the name of Allah and according to the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah."
أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ إِذَا وُضِعَ الْمَيِّتُ فِي الْقَبْرِ «بِاسْمِ اللهِ وَعَلَى سَنَةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ»
