a man said: “O Messenger of Allah ﷺ, I intend to travel, so advise me.” He said, “Hold fast to the Taqwa of Allah, and (say the) Takbir upon every elevated place.” So when the man turned away he said: “O Allah make near for him the distance, and ease for him the journey (Allāhummaṭwi lahul-arḍa wa hawwin ʿalaihis-safar).”  

يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي أُرِيدُ أَنْ أُسَافِرَ فَأَوْصِنِي قَالَ عَلَيْكَ بِتَقْوَى اللَّهِ وَالتَّكْبِيرِ عَلَى كُلِّ شَرَفٍ فَلَمَّا أَنْ وَلَّى الرَّجُلُ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ اطْوِ لَهُ الأَرْضَ وَهَوِّنْ عَلَيْهِ السَّفَرَ قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ  

[Machine] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ wanting to travel, and he said, "O Messenger of Allah, advise me." He said, "I advise you to have taqwa (fear and consciousness) of Allah and to say 'Allahu Akbar' (Allah is the Greatest) upon every elevated place." When the man left, the Prophet ﷺ said, "O Allah, ease his journey for him and make the Earth wide for him."  

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يُرِيدُ سَفَرًا فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَوْصِنِي قَالَ أُوصِيكَ بِتَقْوَى اللهِ وَالتَّكْبِيرِ عَلَى كُلِّ شَرَفٍ فَلَمَّا مَضَى قَالَ اللهُمَّ ازْوِ لَهُ الْأَرْضَ وَهَوِّنْ عَلَيْهِ السَّفَرَ  

[Machine] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ wanting to travel, so he said, "O Messenger of Allah, advise me." He said, "I advise you to have fear of Allah and to say Allahu Akbar at every elevated place." When the man departed, the Prophet ﷺ said, "O Allah, make his journey easy for him and facilitate it for him."  

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يُرِيدُ سَفَرًا فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَوْصِنِي قَالَ أُوصِيكَ بِتَقْوَى اللهِ وَالتَّكْبِيرِ عَلَى كُلِّ شَرَفٍ فَلَمَّا وَلَّى الرَّجُلُ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ اللهُمَّ ازْوِ لَهُ الْأَرْضَ وَهَوِّنْ عَلَيْهِ السَّفَرَ  

[Machine] "A man came to the Prophet ﷺ seeking permission to travel and bid him farewell. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ advised him to be mindful of Allah and to recite Takbeer at every elevated place. When he departed, the man prayed: O Allah, make his journey long and easy for him."  

أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يُرِيدُ سَفَرًا لِيُوَدِّعَهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أُوصِيكَ بِتَقْوَى اللهِ وَالتَّكْبِيرِ عَلَى كُلِّ شَرَفٍ فَلَمَّا وَلَّى قَالَ اللهُمَّ اطْوِ لَهُ الْبَعِيدَ وَهَوِّنْ عَلَيْهِ السَّفَرَ  

[Machine] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ seeking advice for a journey. He said, "O Messenger of Allah, advise me." The Prophet replied, "I advise you to have fear of Allah and to say the takbir on every hill." After the man left, the Prophet said, "O Allah, make his journey easy for him and make the earth spacious for him."  

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يُرِيدُ سَفَرًا فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَوْصِنِي فَقَالَ أُوصِيكَ بِتَقْوَى اللهِ وَالتَّكْبِيرِ عَلَى كُلِّ شَرَفٍ فَلَمَّا مَضَى قَالَ اللهُمَّ ازْوِ لَهُ الْأَرْضَ وَهَوِّنْ عَلَيْهِ السَّفَرَ  

[Machine] "A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, advise me.' He said, 'I advise you to fear Allah and to recite the Takbeer upon every glory.' After the man left, the Prophet prayed, 'O Allah, grant him ease in his journey and make travel easy for him."  

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يُرِيدُ سَفَرًا فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَوْصِنِي قَالَ «أُوصِيكَ بِتَقْوَى اللَّهِ وَالتَّكْبِيرِ عَلَى كُلِّ شَرَفٍ» فَلَمَّا مَضَى قَالَ «اللَّهُمَّ ازْوِ لَهُ الْأَرْضَ وَهَوِّنْ عَلَيْهِ السَّفَرَ»  

[Machine] A man came to him while he wanted to travel and greeted him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I advise you to fear Allah and to say Allahu Akbar upon every high place." When the man turned away, he said, "O Allah, grant him ease in his journey and make his travel easy for him."  

أَنَّ رَجُلًا جَاءَهُ وَهُوَ يُرِيدُ سَفَرًا فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أُوصِيكَ بِتَقْوَى اللَّهِ وَالتَّكْبِيرِ عَلَى كُلِّ شَرَفٍ» حَتَّى إِذَا أَدْبَرَ الرَّجُلُ قَالَ «اللَّهُمَّ ازْوِ لَهُ الْأَرْضَ وَهَوِّنْ عَلَيْهِ السَّفَرَ»  

[Machine] "O Messenger of Allah, advise me," so the Messenger of Allahﷺ said to him, "I advise you to fear Allah and to utter the takbir on every noble occasion." When the man left, the Prophetﷺ said, "O Allah, grant him wealth and make his journey easy for him."  

يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَوْصِنِي فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أُوصِيكَ بِتَقْوَى اللَّهِ وَالتَّكْبِيرِ عَلَى كُلِّ شَرَفٍ» فَلَمَّا وَلَّى الرَّجُلُ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «اللَّهُمَّ ازْوِ لَهُ الْأَرْضَ وَهَوِّنْ عَلَيْهِ السَّفَرَ»  

[Machine] A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wanting to travel. He said, "O Messenger of Allah, advise me?" He said, "I advise you to have fear of Allah and to remember Allah in every high place." When he departed, he said, "May Allah make the earth spacious for you and make your journey easy."  

أَنَّ رَجُلًا جَاءَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يُرِيدُ سَفَرًا فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَوْصِنِي؟ قَالَ «أُوصِيكَ بِتَقْوَى اللهِ وَاذْكُرِ اللهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَرَفٍ» فَلَمَّا وَلَّى قَالَ «زَوَى اللهُ لَكَ الْأَرْضَ وَهَوَّنَ عَلَيْكَ السَّفَرَ»  

[Machine] From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, a man came to the Prophet ﷺ while he was intending to travel, so he greeted him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "I advise you to have taqwa (fear and obedience of Allah) and to recite takbir (saying Allahu akbar - Allah is the Greatest) on every elevated place. So when the man turned away, he said, "O Allah, make the earth spacious for him and make his journey easy."  

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّ رَجُلًا جَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَهُوَ يُرِيدُ سَفَرًا فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أُوصِيكَ بِتَقْوَى اللهِ وَالتَّكْبِيرِ عَلَى كُلِّ شَرَفٍ حَتَّى إِذَا أَدْبَرَ الرَّجُلُ قَالَ اللهُمَّ ازْوِ لَهُ الْأَرْضَ وَهَوِّنْ عَلَيْهِ السَّفَرَ
