tirmidhi:3445 – Mūsá

a man said: “O Messenger of Allah ﷺ, I intend to travel, so advise me.” He said, “Hold fast to the Taqwa of Allah, and (say the) Takbir upon every elevated place.” So when the man turned away he said: “O Allah make near for him the distance, and ease for him the journey (Allāhummaṭwi lahul-arḍa wa hawwin ʿalaihis-safar).”  

الترمذي:٣٤٤٥ – حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْكِنْدِيُّ الْكُوفِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ حُبَابٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ أَنَّ رَجُلاً قَالَ

يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي أُرِيدُ أَنْ أُسَافِرَ فَأَوْصِنِي قَالَ عَلَيْكَ بِتَقْوَى اللَّهِ وَالتَّكْبِيرِ عَلَى كُلِّ شَرَفٍ فَلَمَّا أَنْ وَلَّى الرَّجُلُ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ اطْوِ لَهُ الأَرْضَ وَهَوِّنْ عَلَيْهِ السَّفَرَ قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يُرِيدُ سَفَرًا فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَوْصِنِي قَالَ «أُوصِيكَ بِتَقْوَى اللَّهِ وَالتَّكْبِيرِ عَلَى كُلِّ شَرَفٍ» فَلَمَّا مَضَى قَالَ «اللَّهُمَّ ازْوِ لَهُ الْأَرْضَ وَهَوِّنْ عَلَيْهِ السَّفَرَ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ على شرط مسلم

[Machine] "A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wishing to travel. He said, 'O Messenger of Allah, advise me.' He replied, 'I advise you to have Taqwa (fear and consciousness) of Allah and to make Takbir (proclaim the greatness) on every hill.' After he left, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'O Allah, make his journey easy for him and facilitate his travel.'"  

الحاكم:١٦٣٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْقَطِيعِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُرِيدُ سَفَرًا فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَوْصِنِي قَالَ «أُوصِيكَ بِتَقْوَى اللَّهِ وَالتَّكْبِيرِ عَلَى كُلِّ شَرَفٍ» فَلَمَّا مَضَى قَالَ «اللَّهُمَّ ازْوِ لَهُ الْأَرْضَ وَهَوِّنْ عَلَيْهِ السَّفَرَ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ

[Machine] A man came to him while he wanted to travel and greeted him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I advise you to fear Allah and to say Allahu Akbar upon every high place." When the man turned away, he said, "O Allah, grant him ease in his journey and make his travel easy for him."  

ابن حبّان:٢٦٩٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ أَنَّ سَعِيدًا الْمَقْبُرِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا جَاءَهُ وَهُوَ يُرِيدُ سَفَرًا فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أُوصِيكَ بِتَقْوَى اللَّهِ وَالتَّكْبِيرِ عَلَى كُلِّ شَرَفٍ» حَتَّى إِذَا أَدْبَرَ الرَّجُلُ قَالَ «اللَّهُمَّ ازْوِ لَهُ الْأَرْضَ وَهَوِّنْ عَلَيْهِ السَّفَرَ»  

ذِكْرُ الْأَمْرِ بِالتَّكْبِيرِ لِلَّهِ جَلَّ وَعَلَا عَلَى كُلِّ شَرَفٍ لِلْمُسَافِرِ فِي سَفَرِهِ

[Machine] "O Messenger of Allah, advise me," so the Messenger of Allahﷺ said to him, "I advise you to fear Allah and to utter the takbir on every noble occasion." When the man left, the Prophetﷺ said, "O Allah, grant him wealth and make his journey easy for him."  

ابن حبّان:٢٧٠٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْعَطَّارُ بِالْبَصْرَةِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْفُضَيْلُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْفُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ يُرِيدُ سَفَرًا فَقَالَ

يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَوْصِنِي فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أُوصِيكَ بِتَقْوَى اللَّهِ وَالتَّكْبِيرِ عَلَى كُلِّ شَرَفٍ» فَلَمَّا وَلَّى الرَّجُلُ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «اللَّهُمَّ ازْوِ لَهُ الْأَرْضَ وَهَوِّنْ عَلَيْهِ السَّفَرَ»

[Machine] A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wanting to travel. He said, "O Messenger of Allah, advise me?" He said, "I advise you to have fear of Allah and to remember Allah in every high place." When he departed, he said, "May Allah make the earth spacious for you and make your journey easy."  

الكبرى للنسائي:١٠٢٦٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ سَمِعْتُ أُسَامَةَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا جَاءَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يُرِيدُ سَفَرًا فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَوْصِنِي؟ قَالَ «أُوصِيكَ بِتَقْوَى اللهِ وَاذْكُرِ اللهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَرَفٍ» فَلَمَّا وَلَّى قَالَ «زَوَى اللهُ لَكَ الْأَرْضَ وَهَوَّنَ عَلَيْكَ السَّفَرَ»

[Machine] From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, a man came to the Prophet ﷺ while he was intending to travel, so he greeted him.
