1. Book of Faith (2/6)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, Allah is the Creator of every creator and their creations." According to a condition set by a Muslim.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, Allah is the creator of every creator and their creations."
[Machine] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, we used to seek protection with it and use medicine for healing with it. Does it go against the decree of Allah, the Most High?" He said, "It is from the decree of Allah."
[Machine] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, we used to practice ruqyah (healing through recitation) and seek treatment through medicines. Does that go against the qadr (predestination) of Allah?" He replied, "It is part of the qadr of Allah."
[Machine] I went to Aisha and said, "O Mother, tell me something you heard from the Messenger of Allah." She said, "The Messenger of Allah said, 'Birds fly according to their destiny, and he was pleased with good omens.'" The two Sheikhs (referring to Muslim and Bukhari) have provided evidence for this hadith from their narrators, except for Yusuf ibn Abi Burdah. And what I have is that they did not neglect it due to any criticism or weakness, but rather because of the scarcity of its narration. Indeed, it is a very valuable hadith, and they did not include it in their collections of hadiths, while it is authentic.
ʿNo one (truly) believes until he believes in four things; until he believes that there is no god but Allah and that I am the Messenger of Allah Who sent me with the truth, and until he believes in the resurrection after death, and until he believes in the divine will and decree.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 758)
[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ, Abu Hudhayfah Musa ibn Masood al-Nahdi, though al-Bukhari disputed this. However, al-Bukhari often jumps to conclusions and his judgments cannot be derived from Abu Asim al-Nabeel and Muhammad ibn Kathir and their contemporaries. An error is required if it contradicts them, and the evidence for what I have mentioned is the continuation of Jarir ibn Abdul Hamid al-Thawri's narration from Mansour from Rabi'i from Ali. Jarir is one of the most knowledgeable people in narrating from Mansour.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The affair of this Ummah will continue to be successful or near success, as long as they do not discuss children and fate."
God only gives faith to the one He loves
the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah has divided between you your characters just as he has divided between you your provisions. Allah gives worldly ˹provisions˺ to the one He loves and to the one whom He does not love, but He does not faith except to the one He loves."
[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "Indeed, Allah has divided your manners as He has divided your provisions. And indeed, Allah gives wealth to those He loves and those He does not love. And He does not give faith except to those He loves. And when Allah loves a servant, He gives him faith. As for the narrator who is not mentioned in this book, he is Abd al-Aziz ibn Aban, and his hadith is known with it. It is authenticated by two narrators of Isa ibn Yunus, then by a narrator of al-Thawri from Zubaid, and he is Hamzah al-Zayyat." This was narrated by Abd al-Aziz ibn Aban, and it is not a condition of our book concerning al-Thawri.
[Machine] I heard Kurz bin 'Alqamah saying, "A man asked the Prophet ﷺ, 'O Messenger of Allah, does Islam have a limit?' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, 'Yes, whoever from the Arab or non-Arab people who Allah intends good for, He will enter Islam upon them. Then, the trials will occur like the darknesses.'" Muhammad bin Rashid and Yunus bin Yazid narrated this from Az-Zuhri, but they did not mention it to be solely narrated by 'Urwah while he was a companion.
