"I said to the Prophet ﷺ that I was suffering from Istihadah. He said: 'Do not pray during the days of your period, then perform Ghusl and delay Zuhr and bring Maghrib and bring 'Isha' forward and pray them together, and perform Ghusl for Fajr."

قُلْتُ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ إِنَّهَا مُسْتَحَاضَةٌ فَقَالَ تَجْلِسُ أَيَّامَ أَقْرَائِهَا ثُمَّ تَغْتَسِلُ وَتُؤَخِّرُ الظُّهْرَ وَتُعَجِّلُ الْعَصْرَ وَتَغْتَسِلُ وَتُصَلِّي وَتُؤَخِّرُ الْمَغْرِبَ وَتُعَجِّلُ الْعِشَاءَ وَتَغْتَسِلُ وَتُصَلِّيهِمَا جَمِيعًا وَتَغْتَسِلُ لِلْفَجْرِ

It was narrated from 'Aishah that a woman who suffered from Istihadah at the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was told that it was a stubborn vein (i.e., one that would not stop bleeding). She was told to delay Zuhr and bring 'Asr forward, and to perform one Ghusl for both, and to delay Maghrib and bring 'Isha' forward, and to perform one Ghusl for both, and she would perform one Ghusl for Subh.

أَنَّ امْرَأَةً مُسْتَحَاضَةً عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قِيلَ لَهَا إِنَّهُ عِرْقٌ عَانِدٌ وَأُمِرَتْ أَنْ تُؤَخِّرَ الظُّهْرَ وَتُعَجِّلَ الْعَصْرَ وَتَغْتَسِلَ لَهُمَا غُسْلاً وَاحِدًا وَتُؤَخِّرَ الْمَغْرِبَ وَتُعَجِّلَ الْعِشَاءَ وَتَغْتَسِلَ لَهُمَا غُسْلاً وَاحِدًا وَتَغْتَسِلَ لِصَلاَةِ الصُّبْحِ غُسْلاً وَاحِدًا

A woman had a prolonged flow of blood in the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. She was commanded to advance the afternoon prayer and delay the noon prayer, and to take a bath for them only once; and to delay the sunset prayer and advance the night prayer and to take a bath only once for them; and to take a bath separately for the dawn prayer. I (Shu'bah) asked AbdurRahman: (Is it) from the Prophet ﷺ? I do not report to you anything except from the Prophet ﷺ.

قَالَتِ اسْتُحِيضَتِ امْرَأَةٌ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَأُمِرَتْ أَنْ تُعَجِّلَ الْعَصْرَ وَتُؤَخِّرَ الظُّهْرَ وَتَغْتَسِلَ لَهُمَا غُسْلاً وَأَنْ تُؤَخِّرَ الْمَغْرِبَ وَتُعَجِّلَ الْعِشَاءَ وَتَغْتَسِلَ لَهُمَا غُسْلاً وَتَغْتَسِلَ لِصَلاَةِ الصُّبْحِ غُسْلاً فَقُلْتُ لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَعَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ لاَ أُحَدِّثُكَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِشَىْءٍ

[Machine] It was narrated that a woman had her menstrual cycle during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so she was instructed to delay the Dhuhr prayer and hasten the Asr prayer. She was also instructed to perform ghusl (ritual bath) for them. As for Maghrib and Isha prayers, she was to delay the former and hasten the latter, and perform ghusl for them. She was also to perform ghusl for Fajr prayer. And so on...

أَنَّ امْرَأَةً اسْتُحِيضَتْ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأُمِرَتْ أَنْ تُؤَخِّرَ الظُّهْرَ وَتُعَجِّلَ الْعَصْرَ وَتَغْتَسِلَ لَهُمَا غُسْلًا وَالْمَغْرِبُ وَالْعِشَاءُ تُؤَخِّرُ هَذِهِ وَتُعَجِّلُ هَذِهِ وَتَغْتَسِلُ لَهُمَا غُسْلًا وَتَغْتَسِلُ لِلصُّبْحِ غُسْلًا وَهَكَذَا

[Machine] A woman in the time of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, experienced istihaadhah (abnormal bleeding outside of menstruation). She was given the command to delay the zuhr (noon) prayer, hasten the asr (afternoon) prayer, perform one ghusl (ritual bath) for both prayers, delay the maghrib (evening) prayer, hasten the isha (night) prayer, and perform one ghusl for both prayers. She was also instructed to perform ghusl for the Fajr (dawn) prayer. Mu'adh ibn Mu'adh narrated this hadith from Shu'bah. He said, "I asked 'Abdur-Rahman about the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.' He said, 'I do not narrate anything from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.' Nadhr ibn Shumail also narrated this hadith from Shu'bah, and Muhammad ibn Ishaq ibn Yasar narrated it from 'Abdur-Rahman. Shu'bah disagreed with regards to the elevation (raising of the voice) of the Prophet and called the woman experiencing istihaadhah as 'al-mustahadhah'."

اسْتُحِيضَتِ امْرَأَةٌ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأُمِرَتْ قُلْتُ مَنْ أَمَرَهَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ؟ قَالَ لَسْتُ أُحَدِّثُكَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ شَيْئًا قَالَتْ فَأُمِرَتْ أَنْ تُؤَخِّرَ الظُّهْرَ وَتُعَجِّلَ الْعَصْرَ وَتَغْتَسِلَ لَهَا غُسْلًا وَاحِدًا وَتُؤَخِّرَ الْمَغْرِبَ وَتُعَجِّلَ الْعِشَاءَ وَتَغْتَسِلَ لَهُمَا غُسْلًا وَتَغْتَسِلَ لِلصُّبْحِ غُسْلًا وَرَوَاهُ مُعَاذُ بْنُ مُعَاذِ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ وَفِيهِ قَالَ فَقُلْتُ لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ؟ فَقَالَ لَا أُحَدِّثُكَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِشَيْءٍ وَكَذَلِكَ قَالَهُ النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ وَرَوَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ فَخَالَفَ شُعْبَةُ فِي رَفْعِهِ وَسَمَّى الْمُسْتَحَاضَةَ
