"There are four matters in my nation that are from the matters of Jahiliyyah which the people will not leave: Wailing, slandering one's lineage, Al-Adwa - a camel gets mange, so one hundred camels get mange - but who gave the first camel mange? And Al-Anwa (saying): "We got rain because of this or that celestial positioning.'"
"There are four matters in my nation that are from the matters of Jahiliyyah which the people will not leave: Wailing, slandering one's lineage, Al-Adwa - a camel gets mange, so one hundred camels get mange - but who gave the first camel mange? And Al-Anwa (saying): "We got rain because of this or that celestial positioning.'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1001)
[AI] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "There are four actions that will not leave my Ummah: refraining from slandering people's lineages, wailing, and calling for destruction. And if you have bought a tested or untested camel and you put it with a hundred camels, then someone tests the first [one]."
[AI] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ, "There are four practices from the pre-Islamic era that will not be abandoned by my Ummah: insulting in lineage, wailing, selling the barren camel by stating it has been pregnant, and contagion. A man purchases the most seasoned camel, however, he keeps it among a hundred camels for trial. So, who is the first to do wrong in this case?"
"There are four matters in my nation that are from the matters of Jahiliyyah which the people will not leave: Wailing, slandering one's lineage, Al-Adwa - a camel gets mange, so one hundred camels get mange - but who gave the first camel mange?
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There are four things that people do not leave from the customs of ignorance: lamentation, false oaths in transactions, saying 'we have been rained on by such and such star', and the belief in contagious diseases such as the camel's disease, so I test a hundred (camels), so who will test the first hundred?"
[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "There are four characteristics of ignorance that people will not abandon: wailing, cursing each other's lineages, boasting about ancestors, and seeking omens. We have been commanded with 'An-Naw' (a form of divination), and contagious diseases spread like an infected camel in a herd. So who is more unjust than the first one?"
"There are four matters in my nation that are from the matters of Jahiliyyah which the people will not leave: Wailing, slandering one's lineage, Al-Adwa - a camel gets mange, so one hundred camels get mange - but who gave the first camel mange? ".
