قَالَ أُقيمت الصَّلاةُ وَعَرَضَ رَجُلٌ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي حَاجَةٍ فَمَا قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلاةِ حَتَّى نَامَ الْقَوْمُ

أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلاَةُ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَجِيٌّ لِرَجُلٍ وَفِي حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ وَنَبِيُّ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُنَاجِي الرَّجُلَ فَمَا قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ حَتَّى نَامَ الْقَوْمُ
the Iqamah was pronounced (for the night prayer) and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ remained engaged in talking (to a person) in the corner of the mosque. He did not begin prayer until the people slept.
