that the Prophet ﷺ said: "When Hawwa became pregnant, Iblis came to her - and her children would not live (after birth) - so he said: 'Name him 'Abdul-Harith.' So she named him 'Abdul-Harith and he lived. So that is among the inspirations of Ash-Shaitan and his commands."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَمَّا حَمَلَتْ حَوَّاءُ طَافَ بِهَا إِبْلِيسُ وَكَانَ لاَ يَعِيشُ لَهَا وَلَدٌ فَقَالَ سَمِّيهِ عَبْدَ الْحَارِثِ فَسَمَّتْهُ عَبْدَ الْحَارِثِ فَعَاشَ وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ مِنْ وَحْىِ الشَّيْطَانِ وَأَمْرِهِ

that the Prophet ﷺ said: "When Hawwa became pregnant, Iblis came to her - and her children would not live (after birth) - so he said: 'Name him 'Abdul-Harith.' [AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Hawwa (Eve) had no children, so she vowed that if she had a child, she would name him 'Abdul Harith'. She then had a child and named him 'Abdul Harith'. This was only inspired by a revelation from Satan."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «كَانَتْ حَوَّاءُ لَا يَعِيشُ لَهَا وَلَدٌ فَنَذَرَتْ لَئِنْ عَاشَ لَهَا وَلَدٌ تُسَمِّيهِ عَبْدَ الْحَارِثِ فَعَاشَ لَهَا وَلَدٌ فَسَمَّتْهُ عَبْدَ الْحَارِثِ وَإِنَّمَا كَانَ ذَلِكَ عَنْ وَحْيٍ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ»

"لَمَّا حَمَلْتْ حَوَّاءُ طَافَ إِبْلِيسُ وَكَانَ لَا يَعِيشُ لَها ولَدا، فقال: سَمِّيه عَبدَ الحارث فإِنَّهُ يَعَيش، فَسَمَّتْهُ عَبْدَ الْحَارثِ فَعَاشَ، وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ مِنْ وَحْى الشَّيطَانِ وأمْرِه".
