اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ عُرِضَتْ عَلَيَّ أَعْمَالُ أُمَّتِي حُسْنَهَا وَسَيِّئَهَا فَرَأَيْتُ فِيَ مَحَاسِنِ أَعْمَالِهَا الْأَذَى يُمَاطُ عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ وَوَجَدْتُ فِي مَسَاوِي أَعْمَالِهَا النُّخَامَةَ تَكُونُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ أَحْسِبُهُ قَالَ فَلَا يَدْفِنُهَا وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ
from the Prophet ﷺ, he said: “The deeds of my community were shown to me—the good and the bad. I found among its good deeds the removal of harm from the road, and I found among its bad deeds phlegm left in the mosque without being buried.”
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ: «عُرِضَتْ عَلَىَّ أَعْمَالُ أُمَّتِي حَسَنُهَا وَسَيِّئُهَا، فَوَجَدْتُ فِي مَحَاسِنِ أَعْمَالِهَا الأَذَى يُمَاطُ عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ، وَوَجَدْتُ فِي مَسَاوِي أَعْمَالِهَا النُّخَاعَةَ تَكُونُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ لاَ تُدْفَنُ»
The Apostle of Allah ﷺ said: The deeds of my people, good and bad, were presented before me, and I found the removal of something objectionable from the road among their good deeds, and the sputum mucus left unburied in the mosque among their evil deeds. (Using translation from Muslim 553)

Abu Dharr reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I was shown the actions of my Community - both good and evil - and I found that one of their good actions is removing harmful things from the road, I found that one of the evil actions was spit in the mosque which is not buried."
