The Prophet ﷺ said, "The people who get tremendous reward for the prayer are those who are farthest away (from the mosque) and then those who are next farthest and so on. Similarly one who waits to pray with the Imam has greater reward than one who prays and goes to bed. "
The most eminent among human beings (as a recipient of) reward (is one) who lives farthest away, and who has to walk the farthest distance, and he who waits for the prayer to observe it along with the Imam, his reward is greater than one who prays (alone) and then goes to sleep. In the narration of Abu Kuraib (the words are):" (He waits) till he prays along with the Imam in congregation."

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, he said: "Verily, those who have the greatest reward in prayer are those who walk furthest to it. And the one who waits for the prayer until they can pray it in congregation with the Imam, they have an even greater reward than those who pray it individually and then go to sleep." This hadith is narrated by Abu Usamah in Sahih.

Similarly one who waits to pray with the Imam has greater reward than one who prays and goes to bed. " (Using translation from Bukhārī 651)
