[Machine] He informed him that Hafsah, the wife of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , informed him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us to assume the state of ihram for the farewell pilgrimage. Hafsah asked him, "What prevents you, O Messenger of Allah, from assuming the state of ihram?" He replied, "I have already performed the ritual purification (ghusl) and put on my ihram garment, and I will not assume the state of ihram until I sacrifice my hajj animal, and likewise."  

البيهقي:٨٨٤٦ – حدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْعَلَوِيُّ أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ الْبَزْمِهْرَانِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ حدَّثَنِي أَبِي حدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ حَفْصَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَمَرَنَا أَنْ نَحِلَّ عَامَ حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ فَقَالَتْ لَهُ حَفْصَةُ وَمَا يَمْنَعُكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَنْ تَحِلَّ؟ قَالَ إِنِّي لَبَّدْتُ رَأْسِي وَقَلَّدْتُ هَدْيِي وَلَسْتُ أَحِلُّ حَتَّى أَنْحَرَ هَدْيِي وَكَذَلِكَ  

رَوَاهُ شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ لَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِيهِ الْعُمْرَةَ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ

(the wife of the Prophet) The Prophet ﷺ ordered all his wives to finish their Ihram during the year of Hajjat-ul-Wadaʿ. On that, I asked the Prophet ﷺ "What stops you from finishing your lhram?" He said, "I have matted my hair and garlanded my Hadi. So I will not finish my Ihram unless I have slaughtered my Hadi."  

البخاري:٤٣٩٨ – حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ أَخْبَرَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ

[Machine] Nafi' narrated that Hafsah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ , informed him that the Prophet ﷺ ordered his wives to enter into the state of ihram for the Farewell Hajj. So, Fulanah said to him, "What is preventing you from entering into the state of ihram?" He replied, "I have already shaved my head and slaughtered my sacrificial animal, so I am not allowed to enter into the state of ihram again."  

أحمد:٢٦٤٣٦ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ قَالَ قَالَ نَافِعٌ كَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ أَخْبَرَتْنِي حَفْصَةُ زَوْجُ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

What hinders you that you have not put off Ihram? Thereupon he said: I have stuck my hair and driven my sacrificial animal along with men and it is not permissible to put off Ihram (under this condition until I have sacrificed the animal. (Using translation from Muslim 1229e)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَمَرَ أَزْوَاجَهُ أَنْ يُحْلِلْنَ عَامَ حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ فَقَالَتْ حَفْصَةُ مَا مَنَعَكَ أَنْ تُحِلَّ؟ فَقَالَ «إِنِّي لَبَّدْتُ رَأْسِي وَقَلَّدْتُ هَدْيِي فَلَسْتُ أُحِلُّ حَتَّى أَنْحَرَ هَدْيِي»

[Machine] Abdullah bin Umar used to say: Hafsah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, informed me that the Prophet ﷺ ordered his wives to assume the state of ihram for the farewell Hajj. Hafsah asked him, "What prevents you from assuming ihram?" He replied, "I have already shaved my head and slaughtered my sacrificial animal, so I will not assume ihram until I perform another sacrifice." This narration is mentioned in Sahih from the hadith of Nafi' and we have also narrated from the Prophet ﷺ that he shaved his head during the farewell Hajj.  

البيهقي:٩٥٨١ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا عَبْدُ الْكَرِيمِ بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ ثنا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ أنبأ شُعَيْبٌ قَالَ قَالَ نَافِعٌ
