[Machine] He used to say after the final Tashahhud of the Isha prayer some words that he greatly emphasized. He used to say, "I seek refuge in Allah from the punishment of Hell, I seek refuge in Allah from the evil of the Antichrist, I seek refuge in Allah from the punishment of the grave, and I seek refuge in Allah from the trials of life and death." He said that he greatly emphasized these words and he mentioned them from Aisha, from the Prophet ﷺ.  

أحمد:٢٥٦٤٨ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ بَعْدَ التَّشَهُّدِ فِي الْعِشَاءِ الْآخِرَةِ كَلِمَاتٍ كَانَ يُعَظِّمُهُنَّ جِدًّا يَقُولُ أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ وَأَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنْ شَرِّ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ وَأَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَأَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ قَالَ كَانَ يُعَظِّمُهُنَّ وَيَذْكُرُهُنَّ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

[Machine] "He used to say after the Tashahhud words that he would greatly emphasize them. I said, 'Both of them?' He replied, 'Rather, in the other second unit of prayer after the Tashahhud.' I asked, 'What are they?' He said, 'I seek refuge in Allah from the punishment of Hell, and I seek refuge in Allah from the punishment of the grave, and I seek refuge in Allah from the evil of the Antichrist, and I seek refuge in Allah from the trials of life and death.' He used to greatly emphasize them." Ibn Jurayj said, "Abdullah ibn Tawus informed me, who informed me from his father, who heard it from Aisha, from the Prophet ﷺ ."

«هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ فِي التَّعَوُّذِ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ وَقَدْ أَمْلَيْتُ مَا صَحَّ عَلَى شَرْطِهِمَا فِي هَذَا الْبَابِ مِمَّا لَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ فِي كِتَابِ الْإِيمَانِ وَلَمْ أُمْلِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ»

The Prophet ﷺ used to say after the tashahhud: "O Allah, I seek refuge in Thee from the punishment in Hell, and I seek refuge in Thee from the punishment in the grave, and I seek refuge in Thee from the trial of antichrist, and I seek refuge in Thee from the trial of life and death." الطبراني:١٠٩٣٩ – حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ يُونُسَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَقُولُ بَعْدَ التَّشَهُّدِ «اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ»

Seek refuge with Allah from the torment of Hell, seek refuge with Allah from the torment of the grave, and seek refuge with Allah from the trial of Masih al-Dajjal and seek refuge with Allah from the trial of life and death. (Using translation from Muslim 588d)   

السيوطي:٣٦٢٦a –

"أعوذُ باللهِ من عذابِ جَهَنَّمَ، وأعوذُ باللهِ من عذَابِ القَبْرِ، وأعوذُ باللهِ من شَرِّ المسيح الدجَّال، وأعوذ باللهِ من فتنةِ المحْيَا والمماتِ".
