[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "I only fear for Quraysh that they harm themselves." I asked, "What is their problem?" He replied, "Jealousy among them, overflowing like a container. And if you live long enough, you will see them causing trouble to people, to the extent that you will see people scattered among them like sheep between two watering places." This happened once and will happen again.  

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَا أَخَافُ عَلَى قُرَيْشٍ إِلَّا أَنْفُسَهَا قُلْتُ مَا لَهُمْ؟ قَالَ أَشِحَّةٌ بَجَرَةٌ وَإِنْ طَالَ بِكَ عُمْرٌ لَتَنْظُرَنَّ إِلَيْهِمْ يَفْتِنُونَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى تَرَى النَّاسَ بَيْنَهُمْ كَالْغَنَمِ بَيْنَ الْحَوْضَيْنِ إِلَى هَذَا مَرَّةً وَإِلَى هَذَا مَرَّةً  

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ who said, "I fear nothing for the Quraysh except themselves." I asked, "And what is it?" He said, "Scarcity of food. If you live long enough, you will see them among the people as scarce as sheep between two troughs, coming here and going there."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنِّي لَا أَخْشَى عَلَى قُرَيْشٍ إِلَّا أَنْفُسَهَا» قُلْتُ وَمَا هُوَ؟ قَالَ «أَشِحَّةٌ بَجَرَةٌ إِنْ طَالَ بِكَ عُمْرٌ رَأَيْتَهُمْ أَشِحَّةً بَجَرَةَ النَّاسِ حَتَّى تَرَى النَّاسَ بَيْنَهُمْ كَالْغَنَمِ بَيْنَ الْحَوْضَيْنِ مَرَّةً إِلَى هَذَا وَمَرَّةً هَذَا»  

"إِنِّى لا أَخْشَى على قُرَيْشٍ إِلَّا أَنْفُسَها أَشِحْةً بحره ، إِنْ طَالَ لَك عمرُ رَأَيْتَهم يَفْتنُونَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يُرَى النَّاسُ بَيْنَهُمْ كالغنم بَيْنَ الْحَوضَيْن مَرَّةً إِلى هَذَا وَمَرَّةً إِلى هَذَا".  

"ما أَخَافُ على قريشٍ إِلَّا أَنْفُسَهَا أشحةٌ بَجَرة، وإِنْ طَال بِك عمرٌ

لَتَنْظُرَنْ إِليهم يَفْتِنُونَ النَّاسَ حتى يُرى النَّاسُ بَينَهم كالْغَنَمِ بين الْحَوْضَين، إِلى هَذَا مَرةً وإِلى هذا مرة".
