I heard Jabir bin ʿAbdullah saying, "A man passed through the mosque carrying arrows. Allah's Apostle said to him, 'Hold them by their heads.' "

مَرَّ رَجُلٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَمَعَهُ سِهَامٌ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «أَمْسِكْ بِنِصَالِهَا۔»

I said to ʿAmr, "O Abu Muhammad! Did you hear Jabir bin ʿAbdullah saying, 'A man carrying arrows passed through the mosque and Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, 'Hold the arrows by their heads! "ʿAmr replied, "Yes."

لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَمْسِكْ بِنِصَالِهَا قَالَ نَعَمْ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "If anyone of you passed through our mosque or through our market while carrying arrows, he should hold the iron heads," or said, "he should hold firmly with his hand lest he should injure one of the Muslims with it."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ: «إِذَا مَرَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي مَسْجِدِنَا أَوْ فِي سُوقِنَا وَمَعَهُ نَبْلٌ فَلْيُمْسِكْ عَلَى نِصَالِهَا» أَوْ قَالَ «فَلْيَقْبِضْ بِكَفِّهِ أَنْ يُصِيبَ أَحَدًا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ مِنْهَا شَىْءٌ».

A person happened to come to the mosque with an arrow; thereupon Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him: Take hold of its pointed head.

سَمِعَ جَابِرًا يَقُولُ مَرَّ رَجُلٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ بِسِهَامٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَمْسِكْ بِنِصَالِهَا

He who amongst you moves in the mosque or in the bazar and there is an arrow with him he should take hold of its iron-head in his palm, so that none amongst the Muslims should receive any injury from it, or he said, should catch its iron-head.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا مَرَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي مَسْجِدِنَا أَوْ فِي سُوقِنَا وَمَعَهُ نَبْلٌ فَلْيُمْسِكْ عَلَى نِصَالِهَا بِكَفِّهِ أَنْ يُصِيبَ أَحَدًا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ مِنْهَا بِشَىْءٍ أَوْ قَالَ لِيَقْبِضْ عَلَى نِصَالِهَا

Abu Musa reported the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ as saying “ When one of you passes our Masjid or our market with an arrow, he should hold its head or hold it with its hand (the narrator is doubtful) so that no harm may be done to any Muslim.”

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا مَرَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي مَسْجِدِنَا أَوْ فِي سُوقِنَا وَمَعَهُ نَبْلٌ فَلْيُمْسِكْ عَلَى نِصَالِهَا أَوْ قَالَ فَلْيَقْبِضْ كَفَّهُ أَوْ قَالَ فَلْيَقْبِضْ بِكَفِّهِ أَنْ يُصِيبَ أَحَدًا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ

"I said to 'Amr: 'Did you hear Jabir say: "A man passed through the Masjid carrying arrows, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him: 'Hold then by the blades.'? He said: 'Yes.'"

أَسَمِعْتَ جَابِرًا يَقُولُ مَرَّ رَجُلٌ بِسِهَامٍ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ خُذْ بِنِصَالِهَا قَالَ نَعَمْ

"A man passed through the masjid with some arrows, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Hold them by their heads!' He said: 'Yes(ok).'"

رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَمْسِكْ بِنِصَالِهَا قَالَ نَعَمْ

"When anyone of you passes through our masjid or our marketplace carrying arrows, let him hold them by their heads, lest he hurt any Muslims."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا مَرَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي مَسْجِدِنَا أَوْ فِي سُوقِنَا وَمَعَهُ نَبْلٌ فَلْيُمْسِكْ عَلَى نِصَالِهَا بِكَفِّهِ أَنْ تُصِيبَ أَحَدًا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ بِشَىْءٍ أَوْ فَلْيَقْبِضْ عَلَى نِصَالِهَا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said to a man who entered the mosque with arrows, "Hold onto their tips". He replied, "Yes".

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِرَجُلٍ مَرَّ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ بِسِهَامٍ «أَمْسِكْ بِنِصَالِهَا» قَالَ نَعَمْ

[AI] "If any of you passes by the noble in our mosques or markets, let him hold his hand on his groin area and not offend anyone."

إِذَا مَرَّ أَحَدُكُمْ بِالنَّبْلِ فِي مَسَاجِدِنَا أَوْأَسْوَاقِنَا فَلْيُمْسِكْ بِيَدِهِ عَلَى مَشَاقِصِهَا لَا يَعْقِرْ أَحَدًا

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said to a man who passed by his belongings in the mosque, "Should you hold on to it?" The man replied, "Yes."

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لِرَجُلٍ مَرَّ بِأْسَهُمٍ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ «أَمْسِكْ بِنُصُولِهَا؟ » قَالَ نَعَمْ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If any of you pass through our marketplaces or our mosques with a whip, let him hold it tightly so as not to harm any of the Muslims."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا مَرَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي أَسْوَاقِنَا أَوْ مَسْجِدِنَا بِنَبْلٍ فَلْيُمْسِكْ عَلَى نُصُولِهَا لِئَلَّا يُصِيبَ أَحَدًا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ»

[AI] "On the authority of the Prophet, ﷺ , he said: 'When one of you passes through our mosque or market with a whip, let him hold on to its end so as not to harm any of the Muslims.'"

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا مَرَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي مَسْجِدِنَا أَوْ سُوقِنَا بِنَبْلٍ فَلْيُمْسِكْ عَلَى نِصَالِهَا لَا يُصِيبُ أَحَدًا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ بِأَذًى

"إذَا مَرَّ أحدُكُمْ في مسْجدنا أوْ في سوقنا ومعه نبْلٌ، فليُمْسكِ على نصالِها بكفِّهِ لا يَعْقِرْ مُسلمًا".

"إذَا مَرَّ أحدُكُمْ بَنْبلٍ في المسْجِدِ فليُمسِكْ بيدِهِ عَلى نِصالها".
