[Machine] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said while they were digging the trench, "O Allah, there is no good except the good of the hereafter. So, rectify the Ansar and the Muhajirun."

I live in the thought of My servant as he thinks of Me and with him as he calls Me. (Using translation from Muslim 2675d)

[Machine] I heard Anas say that a man from the people of the Book came and greeted the Prophet ﷺ . He said "As-Salamu Alaykum" (peace be upon you), and Umar said, "O Messenger of Allah, should I not strike his neck?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "No, if they greet you with peace, then say 'wa 'alaykum" (and peace be upon you too).

ahmad:13194ʿAbd al-Ṣamad > Hammām > Isḥāq > Anas

[Machine] I was walking with the Prophet ﷺ and he was wearing a thick Najrani cloak with a rough collar. An Arab Bedouin came and asked him a question about the people of the desert, until he reached some stones. The Bedouin grabbed the Prophet's cloak and pulled it so forcefully that it tore and the collar was lifted off the Prophet's neck. This was unusual for the Prophet, as he would usually command respect. Later, he ordered something to be given to the Bedouin.

ahmad:13195ʿAbd al-Ṣamad > Hammām > Isḥāq > Anas

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent Harama, the maternal uncle of Umm Sulaym, with seventy men. They were killed on the day of the Battle of Ma'unah. The leader of the pagans that day was 'Amir ibn al-Tufayl. He came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Choose from me three qualities: you will have the people of the plain and I will have the people of al-Wabr, or I will be the successor after you, or I will attack you with 1,000 blonde and brunette forces." The Prophet ﷺ said, "A strand of hair like a strand of a camel's hair in the house of a woman from the Banu Fulan is worth more than a strand of hair like a strand of a camel's hair in the house of a woman from the Banu Fulan. Bring me my horse." So they brought him his horse and he rode it until he died while still on its back. Harama, the maternal uncle of Umm Sulaym, and two men with him, a man from the Banu Umayyah and a lame man, were there. He said to them, "Stay close to me until I reach them, for if they believe me, then you will be near me, but if they kill me, you will know what to do with your companions." So Harama went to them and said, "Do you believe me if I deliver to you a message from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ?" They said, "Yes." So he started talking to them and they signaled to a man behind him who stabbed him until the spear penetrated him. He said, "Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest), I have triumphed and by the Lord of the Kaaba!" Then they killed all of them except for the lame man, who was on top of a mountain. Anas said, "And it was revealed to us and it was one of the passages recited but then abrogated: 'Convey to our people that we have met our Lord and He is pleased with us and has accepted us.'" Then the Prophet ﷺ called upon the forty mornings to come to him on Ra'il, Dhakwan, Bani Lihyan, and 'Udayyah, the disobedient ones who disobeyed Allah and His Messenger.

The Apostle of Allah ﷺ did not come to us for three days. When the prayer was about to start. Abu Bakr stepped forward (to lead the prayer), and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ lifted the curtain. When the face of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ became visible to us, we (found) that no sight was more endearing to us than the face of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as it appeared to us. The Apostle of Allah ﷺ with the gesture of his hand directed Abu Bakr to step forward (and lead the prayer). The Apostle of Allah ﷺ then drew the curtain, and we could not see him till he died. The man thought that Abu Bakr meant that the Prophet ﷺ was guiding him on the road, but in reality, Abu Bakr meant that the Prophet ﷺ was guiding him towards goodness. Abu Bakr then turned around and saw a Persian man following them. He said to the Prophet ﷺ , "O Prophet of Allah, there is a Persian man following us." The Prophet ﷺ turned around and supplicated to Allah to stop him, and the man's horse stumbled and fell. Abu Bakr asked the Prophet ﷺ , "O Prophet of Allah, command me to do anything you wish." When Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived at Medina, he alighted at the upper part of Medina among the people called Bani ʿAmr bin ʿAuf and he stayed with them for fourteen nights. Then he sent for the chiefs of Bani An-Najjar, and they came, carrying their swords. As if I am just now looking at Messenger of Allah ﷺ on his she-camel with Abu Bakr riding behind him (on the same camel) and the chiefs of Bani An- Najjar around him till he dismounted in the courtyard of Abu Aiyub's home. The Prophet ﷺ used to offer the prayer wherever the prayer was due, and he would pray even in sheepfolds. Then he ordered that the mosque be built. He sent for the chiefs of Banu An-Najjar, and when they came, he said, "O Banu An-Najjar! Suggest to me the price of this garden of yours." They replied "No! By Allah, we do not demand its price except from Allah." In that garden there were the (following) things that I will tell you: Graves of pagans, unleveled land with holes and pits etc., and date-palm trees.
