Umar berated the women who were crying over the funeral, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, 'Leave them, O son of al-Khattab, for indeed, the soul is afflicted, and indeed, the eye sheds tears, and indeed, the covenant is recent.' He (Abu Abd al-Malik) said, 'Did you hear this from him?' He (Umar) said, 'Yes.' He (Abu Abd al-Malik) said, 'So Allah and His Messenger know best.'"

If any one of you is fasting, let him no utter obscene talk or raise his voice in anger, and if anyone insults him or wants to fight, let him say: I am fasting. By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, the smell coming from the mouth of the fasting person is better before Allah than the fragrance of musk. The fasting person has two moments of joy: When he breaks his fast he rejoices at breaking his fast and when he meets his Lord, the Mighty and Sublime, he will rejoice at having fasted." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Just like that, you will see Him on the Day of Resurrection. Allah will gather the people and ask those who worshipped something, 'Follow what you worshipped.' So those who worshipped the moon will follow the moon, those who worshipped the sun will follow the sun, and those who worshipped the idols will follow the idols. And this Ummah will be left with its hypocrites. Allah will come to them in a form that they do not recognize, and He will say, 'I am your Lord.' They will say, 'We seek refuge with Allah from you. This is our place until our Lord comes to us.' When our Lord comes to them, they will recognize Him. Then Allah will come to them in the form that they recognize, and He will say, 'I am your Lord.' Among them will be those who are caught by their foreheads with the deeds they used to do, and there will be those who are caught by their backsides. [Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: Paradise and Hell began to argue. Paradise said, "O Lord, what is the matter with me that only the poor and humble enter me?" And Hell said, "O Lord, what is the matter with me that only the tyrants and arrogant enter me?" So Allah said to Hell, "You are My punishment. I will fill you with whomever I will." And He said to Paradise, "You are My mercy. I will fill you with whomever I will." And each of them will be filled. As for Paradise, Allah will create for it whatever He wills, and as for Hell, people will be thrown into it and it will say, "Is there any more?" until His foot is placed there, and at that point it will be full and parts of it will overlap with each other, and it will say, "Enough, enough, enough."
