[Machine] He informed him that he found Abu Hurairah performing ablution at the back of the mosque. Abu Hurairah said, "I am performing ablution with the remnants of a sheep that I had eaten because the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Perform ablution with what the fire has touched.'"  

أحمد:٧٦٧٥ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ قَارِظٍ

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ وَجَدَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَتَوَضَّأُ عَلَى ظَهْرِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ إِنَّمَا أَتَوَضَّأُ مِنْ أَثْوَارِ أَقِطٍ أَكَلْتُهَا لِأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ تَوَضَّئُوا مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ

I am performing ablution because of having eaten pieces of cheese, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Perform ablution (after eating anything) touched by fire.

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ وَجَدَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَتَوَضَّأُ عَلَى الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَالَ إِنَّمَا أَتَوَضَّأُ مِنْ أَثْوَارِ أَقِطٍ أَكَلْتُهَا لأَنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ تَوَضَّئُوا مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ

"I saw Abu Hurairah performing Wudu' on the roof of the Masjid ans he said: 'I ate some tough cheese, so I performed Wudu' because of that. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanding us to do Wudu' from that which has been touched by fire.'"  

النسائي:١٧٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ وَهُوَ ابْنُ مُضَرَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ سَوَادَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ قَارِظٍ قَالَ

رَأَيْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَتَوَضَّأُ عَلَى ظَهْرِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَالَ أَكَلْتُ أَثْوَارَ أَقِطٍ فَتَوَضَّأْتُ مِنْهَا إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَأْمُرُ بِالْوُضُوءِ مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ تَوَضَّئُوا مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Perform ablution after (eating) that which has been changed by fire.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 486)

[Machine] "He found Abu Hurayrah on the back of the mosque performing ablution, so he asked him. Abu Hurayrah said, 'I am performing ablution from the leftovers of a cat I ate. Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ said, 'Perform ablution from what the fire has touched.'"  

ابن حبّان:١١٤٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ وَعَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ قَارِظٍ حَدَّثَهُ

أَنَّهُ وَجَدَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ عَلَى ظَهْرِ الْمَسْجِدِ يَتَوَضَّأُ فَسَأَلَهُ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ إِنَّمَا أَتَوَضَّأُ مِنْ أَثْوَارِ أَقِطٍ أَكَلْتُهَا إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «تَوَضَّأْ مِمَّا مَسَّتْهُ النَّارُ»
