ذِكْرُ أَمْرِ الْمُصْطَفَى ﷺ بِالْوُضُوءِ مِنْ أَكْلِ مَا مَسَّتْهُ النَّارُ

[Machine] "He found Abu Hurayrah on the back of the mosque performing ablution, so he asked him. Abu Hurayrah said, 'I am performing ablution from the leftovers of a cat I ate. Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ said, 'Perform ablution from what the fire has touched.'"  

ابن حبّان:١١٤٧أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ وَعَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ قَارِظٍ حَدَّثَهُ

أَنَّهُ وَجَدَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ عَلَى ظَهْرِ الْمَسْجِدِ يَتَوَضَّأُ فَسَأَلَهُ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ إِنَّمَا أَتَوَضَّأُ مِنْ أَثْوَارِ أَقِطٍ أَكَلْتُهَا إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «تَوَضَّأْ مِمَّا مَسَّتْهُ النَّارُ»

[Machine] Abu Hurairah ate the leaves of a desert plant, then he performed ablution. He said, "Do you know why I am performing ablution? I ate the leaves of a desert plant, so I am performing ablution. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Perform ablution from what has been touched by fire.'"  

أحمد:٩٥١٩حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ قَارِظٍ أَوْ قَارَضٍ لَا أَدْرِي شَكَّ إِسْمَاعِيلُ

أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ أَكَلَ أَثْوَارَ أَقِطٍ فَتَوَضَّأَ فَقَالَ أَتَدْرُونَ مِمَّا تَوَضَّأْتُ؟ إِنِّي أَكَلْتُ أَثْوَارَ أَقِطٍ فَتَوَضَّأْتُ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ تَوَضَّئُوا مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ

[Machine] He informed him that he found Abu Hurairah performing ablution at the back of the mosque. Abu Hurairah said, "I am performing ablution with the remnants of a sheep that I had eaten because the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Perform ablution with what the fire has touched.'"

[Machine] I saw Abu Huraira performing ablution on top of the mosque, so I asked him, "Why are you performing ablution here?" He replied, "I ate from the meat of a roasted goat and I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Perform ablution from what the fire has touched.'"
