I became firm and waited to hear what they would say. Then I went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, you told us that no one should inform you of anything concerning your companions. But I passed by so-and-so and so-and-so, and they were saying such and such.' The countenance of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ turned red and he became upset. The Prophet said, "And she used to mention the guest, but she used to commit acts during the era of ignorance." He said, "Your mother is in the Hellfire." So they turned away, and the grief was visible on their faces. The Prophet commanded them to be called back, so they returned and joy was visible on their faces, hoping that something had happened. The Prophet said, "Your mother is with your mother." A man from the hypocrites said, "This does not benefit him anything about his mother, while we are stepping forward." A man from the Ansar said, "I have never seen a man ask more questions than him, O Messenger of Allah. Did your Lord promise you something concerning her or concerning both of them?" He thought that he had heard something, so he said, "I have not asked my Lord about it, nor did He cause me to expect it. But indeed, I will be given the praiseworthy position on the Day of Resurrection." The Ansari man said, "And what is that praiseworthy position?" He said, "That is when you are brought forth barefoot, naked and uncircumcised, and then Abraham will be the first to clothe you and say, 'Clothe my close friend.' Then two white robes will be brought, so wear them." Then he said, "Then he will sit to face the Throne, and then my garment will be brought, so I will wear it. Then I will stand on his right side in a position that no one else will occupy. The early ones and the late ones will envy me because of it." He said, "And a river of Al-Kawthar will be opened to the Basin." The hypocrites said, "Indeed, no water has ever flowed except on a slope or a surface." He said, "A slope is its state, and a surface is its gloomy state." The hypocrite said, "I have never heard, as I have today, that water flowed on a slope or a surface without having vegetation." The Ansari man said, "O Messenger of Allah, does it have vegetation?" He said, "Yes, its pipes are made of gold." The hypocrite said, "I have never heard, as I have today, that a rod grew without having leaves, and unless it had fruit." The Ansari man said, "O Messenger of Allah, does it have fruit?" He said, "Yes, the colors of precious gems, and its water is whiter than milk and sweeter than honey. Indeed, whoever drinks from it will never be thirsty again, and whoever is deprived of it will never be satisfied again."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ followed me and said, "So we set off until I reached a certain place, and he drew a line for me and told me to stay within it. He said, 'Do not leave this area, for if you do, you will perish.' So I stayed within it. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went away for a while, or seemingly went far away. Then he returned and mentioned Haneen, as if they were locusts. (Affan said, or as Affan said if Allah wills), they had no clothes on, and I did not see their private parts at all. They had very little flesh. Then they came and started riding on the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Prophet of Allah ﷺ began reciting to them. They came to me and it seemed as if they were flooding around me and attempting to interpose themselves. Abdullah said, "I was terrified of them more severely than I was the first time." A'rif said in his narration, "Then he sat down or as he said." Then when the dawn broke, they left, or as he said. Then indeed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned very weary and exhausted, or almost exhausted due to what he had ridden. He said, "I feel heavy, or as he said." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ rested his head on me, or as he said. Then the Haneen came to them wearing long white clothes, or as he said. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ fell into a trance." Abdullah said, "I was terrified of them more severely than the first time." A'rim said in his narration, or as they said, "Some of them said to others, 'Indeed, this servant has received something good,' or as they said, 'His eyes are sleeping, or he said his eye, and his heart is awake.' Then A'rim said, "Some of them said to others, 'Come, let us strike a similitude for him,' or as they said, 'Let us strike a similitude for him and let us interpret it ourselves, or you interpret and we will interpret and you interpret, or as they said.' Then some of them said to others, 'His similitude is like the similitude of a master who built a strong edifice and then sent food to the people. So whoever did not come to his food, or he said whoever did not follow him, he would severely punish him, or as they said.' Others said, 'As for the master, he is the Lord of the Worlds, and as for the edifice, it is Islam, and the food is Paradise, and he is the inviter. So whoever follows him will be in Paradise,' A'rim said in his narration, or as they said. 'And whoever does not follow him will be punished severely,' or as they said. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ awoke and said, 'What have you seen, O son of Umm 'Abd?' 'Abdullah said, 'I saw such and such.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'There is nothing they said that is hidden from me.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'They are a group of angels, or he said they are from the angels, or as Allah wills.' "

A man then asked, "O Messenger of Allah, I like to dress nicely, have clean hair, wear new shoes, and mention things until I even mention the strap of my whip. Does that count as arrogance?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "No, that is not arrogance. That is beauty. Indeed, Allah is beautiful and loves beauty. Arrogance is rejecting the truth and looking down upon people."

[Machine] Umayyah, wait until the middle of the day when people are distracted and then you can go and circulate around the Kaaba. While Saad was performing the Tawaf, Abu Jahl approached him and asked who he was and why he was circling the Kaaba safely. Saad identified himself and Abu Jahl criticized him for circumambulating the Kaaba while they had given him the protection of Muhammad. Saad responded that if Abu Jahl prevented him from circling the Kaaba, he would cut off his trade route to Sham. Umayyah warned Saad not to raise his voice against Abu Al-Hakam, the leader of the valley, but Saad became angry and said that he had heard Muhammad claim to be his killer. Umayyah held him back, but Saad insisted that he was not lying. When they left, Saad went back to his wife and informed her of what the man from Madinah had said. When they reached Badr, his wife reminded him of what his brother from Madinah had said. Saad wanted to stay back, but Abu Jahl told him that as a nobleman of the valley, he should accompany them for a day or two. Saad went with them and was eventually killed by Allah.
