[Machine] If anyone of you is offered food or drink while fasting, they should say, "I am fasting."

النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَقَالَ زُهَيْرٌ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا دُعِيَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى طَعَامٍ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ فَلْيَقُلْ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ

When one of you is invited (to a meal), and he is fasting, he should say that he is fasting.  

أبو داود:٢٤٦١ – حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا دُعِيَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى طَعَامٍ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ فَلْيَقُلْ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ  

tirmidhi:781 – Naṣr b. ʿAlī > Sufyān b. ʿUyaynah > Abū al-Zinād > al-Aʿraj > Abū Hurayrah

The Prophet said: "When one of you is invited (to a meal) and he is fasting, then let him said: 'Indeed I am fasting.'"  

الترمذي:٧٨١ – حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا دُعِيَ أَحَدُكُمْ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ فَلْيَقُلْ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ  

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَكِلاَ الْحَدِيثَيْنِ فِي هَذَا الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ

السيوطي:١٨٠٥a –

"إِذَا دُعِيَ أحدُكُمْ إلى طعامِ وهو صائِمُ فليقلْ إني صَائمُ" .
