O Allah! I ask Thee for the good this day contains, for conquest, victory, light, blessing and guidance during it; and I seek refuge in Thee from the evil it contains and the evil contained in what comes after it." In the evening he should say the equivalent. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 5084)

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say, "In the morning and evening, we have reached the morning and the Kingdom belongs to Allah, all praise is due to Allah. There is no deity except Allah, alone, without any partner. O Allah, we ask You for the goodness of this day and the goodness that follows it. And we seek refuge in You from the evil of this day and the evil that follows it. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from laziness and the wickedness of old age. And I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the Fire."
