[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , came out to them on a day that he was fasting. He called for a container of water and drank from it. So, we said, "O Messenger of Allah, you were fasting this day?" He replied, "Yes, but I vomited."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ خَرَجَ عَلَيْهِمْ فِي يَوْمٍ كَانَ يَصُومُهُ فَدَعَا بِإِنَاءٍ فِيهِ مَاءٌ فَشَرِبَ فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ هَذَا الْيَوْمَ كُنْتَ تَصُومُهُ؟ فَقَالَ «أَجَلْ وَلَكِنِّي قِئْتُ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out to them on a day that he used to observe fasting. He called for a container that had water in it and drank from it. We said, "O Messenger of Allah, you were observing fast today?" He replied, "Yes, but I vomited."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ خَرَجَ عَلَيْهِمْ فِي يَوْمٍ كَانَ يَصُومُهُ فَدَعَا بِإِنَاءٍ فِيهِ مَاءٌ فَشَرِبَ فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ هَذَا الْيَوْمَ كُنْتَ تَصُومُهُ قَالَ أَجَلْ وَلَكِنْ قِئْتُ
