[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , prohibited breaking the path that is allowed for Muslims between them, except in cases where breaking a dirham and making it into silver or breaking a dinar and making it into a dirham is necessary."  

الطبراني:١٤١٢٣ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فَضَاءٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْمُزَنِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

«نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ تُكْسَرَ سِكَّةُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ الْجَائِزَةُ بَيْنَهُمْ إِلَّا مِنْ بَأْسٍ أَنْ يَكْسِرَ الدِّرْهَمَ فَيَجْعَلُهُ فِضَّةً أَوْ يُكْسَرَ الدِّينَارُ فَيُجْعَلُ دِرْهَمًا»

On the authority of his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade to break the coins of the Muslims current among them except for some defect.

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade breaking the coins of the Muslims that are in circulation among them, without any necessary reason.”(1)

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited breaking the path of the Muslims that is permissible to be taken between them, except in the case of harm, or if a silver coin is broken, it should be made into silver, or if a gold coin is broken, it should be made into gold. The Ansari did not mention his father Alqamah in his narration, and it was mentioned by Al-Mu'tamir. The Dhahabi remained silent about it in his summarization.

bayhaqi:11173 – al-Faqīh Abū Manṣūr al-Baghdādī And ʾAbū ʿAbd al-Raḥman al-Sulamī Waʾabū al-Qāsim ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. ʿAlī b. Ḥamdān Waʾabū Naṣr b.
