" عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الأسْوَدِ بْنِ خَلَف أنَّ أبَاهُ حَدثهُ أَنَّهُ رَأى النَّبِىَّ ﷺ فَبَايَعَ النَّاسَ عنْدَ قَرْنِ مَصْقَلَة قَالَ: فَرأيْتُ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ يُبَايِعُ النَّاسَ، فَجَاءَهُ الرِّجَالُ والنِّسَاءُ، والصِّغَارُ والكِبَارُ، فَبَايَعُوهُ عَلَى الإسْلاَم والشَّهادِةِ، قَالَ عَبْدُ الله بْنُ عُثمَانَ بْنِ خَيْثَم قُلتُ: وَمَا الشَّهادَةُ؟ فَأخْبَرَنِى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الأسْودِ قَالَ: شَهَادَةُ أنْ لاَ إِلَه إلاَّ الله وأنَّ مُحَمدًا رَسُولُ الله".

[Machine] His father Al-Aswad informed him that he saw the Prophet ﷺ giving the oath of allegiance to the people on the day of conquest. He said that he sat near the corner of Masqalah and the people pledged their allegiance to Islam and bearing witness. I asked, "What is the bearing witness?" He said that Muhammad bin Al-Aswad bin Khalaf informed him that they pledged their allegiance to believe in Allah and bear witness that there is no deity except Allah, and that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.

He said, "Muhammad ibn Al-Aswad, meaning Ibn Khalaf, informed me that he pledged allegiance to them in believing in Allah and testifying that there is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger."

[Machine] He saw the Prophet ﷺ giving allegiance to the people on the day of victory. He said that he sat near the house of Samurah. Al-Aswad said, "I saw the Prophet ﷺ sitting, and the young and old people and women came to him and pledged allegiance to Islam and bearing witness to the oneness of Allah and the prophethood of Muhammad. So, I asked, 'What is Islam?' He said, 'To believe in Allah.' And I asked, 'What is the testimony?' He said, 'The testimony that there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.' At this point, Al-Dhahabi remained silent in his summary."

[Machine] "He informed me that his father Al Aswad attended the Prophet's ﷺ gathering for people's allegiance at Qarn Masqalah. Qarn Masqalah is located near the house of Abu Thumama, and it is the area between the house of Ibn 'Amir and the house of Ibn Samura. Al Aswad said, 'I saw the Prophet ﷺ as people, including men, women, young and old, came to give him their pledge of allegiance for Islam and the testimony of faith.' I asked, 'What is the testimony of faith?' Muhammad bin Al Aswad informed me, 'It is the testimony that there is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.'"  

الطبراني:٨١٥حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ خَلَفٍ
