السيوطي:٤٧٤-٢٠b –

"عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ: لَقِيَنِى رَسُولُ الله ﷺ يَوْمًا فَبَدرْتُهُ فَأَخذْتُ بِيَدِهِ أَوْ بَدَرَنِى فَأَخَذَ بِيَدِى فَقَالَ: يَا عُقْبَةُ: ألَا أُخْبِرُكَ بأَفْضَلِ أَخْلاقِ أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا، وَأَهْلِ الآخِرَةِ؟ تصلُ مَنْ قَطَعَكَ، وَتُعْطِى مَنْ حَرَمَكَ، وَتَعْفُو عَمَّنْ ظَلَمَكَ، أَلَا وَمَنْ أَرادَ أَنْ يُمَدَّ في عُمُرِهِ، وَيُبْسَط لَهُ فِى رِزْقِهِ، فَلْيتَّق الله، وَلْيَصِلْ رَحِمَهُ".

[Machine] I met the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so I greeted him and held his hand, and he held my hand. He said, "O 'Uqbah, shall I not inform you of the best qualities of the people of this world and the Hereafter? It is to maintain relations with those who cut you off, to give to those who deprive you, and to forgive those who wrong you. And whoever wishes to have a longer life and their provision expanded, then let them maintain their ties of kinship." Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in his summary.  

الحاكم:٧٢٨٥ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثَنَا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرِ بْنِ سَابِقٍ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَحْرٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ

لَقِيتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَبَدَرْتُهُ فَأَخَذْتُ بِيَدِهِ وَبَدَرَنِي فَأَخَذَ بِيَدِي فَقَالَ «يَا عُقْبَةُ أَلَا أُخْبِرُكَ بِأَفْضَلِ أَخْلَاقِ أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ تَصِلُ مَنْ قَطَعَكَ وَتُعْطِي مَنْ حَرَمَكَ وَتَعْفُو عَمَّنْ ظَلَمَكَ أَلَا وَمَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يُمَدَّ فِي عُمْرِهِ وَيُبْسَطَ فِي رِزْقِهِ فَلْيَصِلْ ذَا رَحِمِهِ» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

[Machine] I met the Messenger of Allah ﷺ one day, so I greeted him and shook his hand, or he shook my hand. Then he said, "O 'Uqbah, should I not inform you of the best characteristics of the people of this life and the Hereafter? You maintain connections with those who cut you off, you give to those who deprive you, and you forgive those who wrong you. Whoever wishes to have his provision extended and his lifespan increased, let him fear Allah and maintain ties of kinship." And the wording is according to the hadith of Ibn Abi Maryam.

"يَا عُقْبَةُ: ألاَ أُخْبرُكَ بِأفْضَلِ أَخْلاَقِ أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ؟ تَصِلُ مَنْ قَطَعَكَ، وَتُعْطِى مَنْ حَرَمَكَ، وَتَعْفُو عَمَّنْ ظَلَمَكَ، ألاَ وَمَنْ أرَادَ انْ يُبْسَطَ لَهُ في رِزْقِهِ، وُيمَدَّ لَهُ فِى عُمُرِهِ، فَليَتَقِ الله، وَليَصِلْ رَحِمَهُ".
