"عَن ابْنِ الحَنَفِيَّةِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَلِىٍّ: فِى رَجُلٍ مَاتَ وَتَركَ ابْنَتَهُ وَمَوْلاَهُ، قَالَ: لِلابْنَةِ النِّصْفُ، ولِلْمَوْلَى النِّصْفُ، قَالَ ذَلكَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ وَفَعَلَهُ".
“My freed slave died, leaving behind a daughter. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ divided his wealth between myself and his daughter, giving me half and her half.”
مَاتَ مَوْلاَىَ وَتَرَكَ ابْنَةً فَقَسَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَالَهُ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ ابْنَتِهِ فَجَعَلَ لِيَ النِّصْفَ وَلَهَا النِّصْفَ
that her male servant had died and left behind a daughter. The Prophet ﷺ gave half of the inheritance to his daughter and gave half of the inheritance to Yaʿlá. He was the son of Salmá.
أَنَّ مَوْلَاهَا مَاتَ وَتَرَكَ ابْنَةً فَوَرَّثَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ ابْنَتَهُ النِّصْفَ وَوَرَّثَ يَعْلَى النِّصْفَ وَكَانَ ابْنَ سَلْمَى
[Machine] That the daughter of Hamza freed a slave owned by her, but he died and left behind his daughter and his slave woman, the daughter of Hamza. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then divided his inheritance between his daughter and the daughter of Hamza equally into two parts.
أَنَّ ابْنَةَ حَمْزَةَ أَعْتَقَتْ عَبْدًا لَهَا فَمَاتَ وَتَرَكَ ابْنَتَهُ وَمَوْلَاتَهُ بِنْتَ حَمْزَةَ «فَقَسَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِيرَاثَهُ بَيْنَ ابْنَتِهِ وَمَوْلَاتِهِ بِنْتِ حَمْزَةَ نِصْفَيْنِ»
“My freed slave died, leaving behind a daughter. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ divided his wealth between myself and his daughter, giving me half and her half.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2734)
«مَاتَ مَوْلًى لِي وَتَرَكَ ابْنَتَهُ فَقَسَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَالَهُ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ ابْنَتِهِ فَجَعَلَ لِيَ النِّصْفَ وَلَهَا النِّصْفَ»
[Machine] "The daughter of Hamza freed a slave boy, then he died and left a daughter, so he divided (the inheritance) between them."
«أَنَّ ابْنَةَ حَمْزَةَ أَعْتَقَتْ غُلَامًا فَمَاتَ وَتَرَكَ ابْنَةً فَقَسَمَ بَيْنَهُمَا»
[Machine] The daughter of Hamza died, leaving behind her daughter and Hamza's daughter. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ divided the wealth equally between them, in half.
«أَنَّ ابْنَةَ حَمْزَةَ مَاتَ مَوْلَاهَا وَتَرَكَ ابْنَتَهُ وَابْنَةَ حَمْزَةَ فَقَسَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْمَالَ بَيْنَهُمَا نِصْفَيْنِ»
[Machine] "That the daughter of Hamza, who is the sister of Abdullah ibn Shaddad ibn Al-Had, from her mother died her master, and he left his daughter and the daughter of Hamza, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ divided the wealth into two halves."
«أَنَّ ابْنَةً لِحَمْزَةَ وَهِيَ أُخْتٌ لِعَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَدَّادِ بْنِ الْهَادِ لِأُمِّهِ مَاتَ مَوْلَاهَا وَتَرَكَ ابْنَتَهُ وَابْنَةَ حَمْزَةَ فَقَسَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْمَالَ نِصْفَيْنِ»
[Machine] "The servant of mine died, leaving behind his daughter. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ divided his wealth between me and his daughter, giving me half and giving her half. Muhammad, meaning the son of Abdullah, said this while referring to his son's sister, Shaddad, from his mother."
