“There will come a time when there will be no one left who does not consume usury (interest), and whoever does not consume it will nevertheless be affected by it."'

[Machine] Narrated to us al-Hasan since around forty or fifty years from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "There will come a time upon the people where they will consume usury." It was said to him, "All of the people?" He said, "Whoever among them does not consume it directly, he will be affected by its dust."
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ مُنْذُ نَحْوٍ مِنْ أَرْبَعِينَ أَوْ خَمْسِينَ سَنَةً عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ يَأْتِي عَلَى النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ يَأْكُلُونَ فِيهِ الرِّبَا قَالَ قِيلَ لَهُ النَّاسُ كُلُّهُمْ؟ قَالَ مَنْ لَمْ يَأْكُلْهُ مِنْهُمْ نَالَهُ مِنْ غُبَارِهِ
