The Prophet ﷺ said, "The saying 'Sub Han Allah' is for men and clapping is for women." (If something happens in the prayer, the men can invite the attention of the Imam by saying "Sub Han Allah". And women, by clapping their hands).

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ التَّسْبِيحُ لِلرِّجَالِ وَالتَّصْفِيقُ لِلنِّسَاءِ

The Prophet ﷺ said: "The tasbih is for men and clapping is for women."

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever commits a mistake in his prayer should say 'Subhanallah' (glory be to Allah), as indeed tasbih (glorification of Allah) is for men and clapping is for women."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ نَابَهُ فِي صَلَاتِهِ شَيْءٌ فَلْيُسَبِّحْ يَقُولُ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ فَإِنَّ التَّسْبِيحَ لِلرِّجَالِ وَالتَّصْفِيقُ لِلنِّسَاءِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If something bothers one of you during his prayer, let him say SubhanAllah because glorification is for men and clapping is for women."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذا نَابَ أَحَدُكُمْ شَيْءٌ فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَلْيُسَبِّحْ فَإِنَّ التَّسْبِيحَ لِلرِّجَالِ وَالتَّصْفِيقَ لِلنِّسَاءِ»

[AI] About the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "Whoever is disturbed by something during their prayer, let them say: Subhanallah (Glory be to Allah) and clap for the women."

"مَا لِي رَأَيتكمْ أَكْثَرْتُم التَّصْفِيقَ، مَنْ نَابَهُ شَيءٌ فيِ صَلاته فَلْيُسبِّحْ، فَإِنَّهُ إِذَا سَبَّحَ التُفِتَ إِلَيهِ، وَإنَّما التَّصْفِيقُ لِلِنّسَاءِ".

"يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ: مَا لَكُمْ حينَ نَابَكُمْ شَىْءٌ فِى الصَّلاةِ أَخَذْتُمْ فِى التَّصْفِيقِ؟ إِنَّمَا الْتَّصْفِيقُ لِلنِّسَاءِ، منْ نَابه شئٌ فِى صَلاتِهِ فليقلْ: سُبْحَانَ اللهِ؛ فَإِنَّه لا يَسْمَعه أَحدٌ حينَ يَقول: سُبْحَانَ اللهِ إِلا الْتَفَتَ".
