"لا طَلاقَ وَلا عَتَاقَ فِي إِغْلاق".
I went out with Adi ibn Adi al-Kindi till we came to Mecca. He sent me to Safiyyah daughter of Shaybah who remembered a tradition (that she had heard) from Aisha. She said: I heard Aisha say: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: There is no divorce or emancipation in case of constraint or duress (ghalaq). Abu Dawud said: I think ghalaq means anger.
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لاَ طَلاَقَ وَلاَ عَتَاقَ فِي غَلاَقٍ
"Aishah told me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There is no divorce and no manumission at the time of coercion.' "
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ طَلاَقَ وَلاَ عَتَاقَ فِي إِغْلاَقٍ
"Aishah told me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There is no divorce and no manumission at the time of coercion.' " (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2046)
أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا طَلَاقَ وَلَا عَتَاقَ فِي إِغْلَاقٍ»
[Machine] About the Prophet ﷺ it is narrated that he said, "There is no divorce or manumission in constraint." This is the statement of Naeem, the companion of Munaakir.
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا طَلَاقَ وَلَا عَتَاقَ فِي إِغْلَاقٍ» نعيم صاحب مناكير
