Al-Mustawrid reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, "If anyone eats a meal at the expense of a Muslim's honour, Allah will feed him a like amount of Hellfire. If anyone clothes himself with a garment at the expense of a Muslim's honour, Allah will clothe him with a like amount of Hellfire. If anyone achieves a position of showing-off and hypocrisy at the expense of a Muslim's honour, Allah will put him in a position of showing-off and hypocrisy on the Day of Rising.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ أَكَلَ بِمُسْلِمٍ أُكْلَةً فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يُطْعِمُهُ مِثْلَهَا مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ وَمَنْ كُسِيَ بِرَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَكْسُوهُ مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ وَمَنْ قَامَ بِرَجُلٍ مَقَامَ رِيَاءٍ وَسُمْعَةٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَقُومُ بِهِ مَقَامَ رِيَاءٍ وَسُمْعَةٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

The Prophet ﷺ said: If anyone eats once at the cost of a Muslim's honour, Allah will give him a like amount of Jahannam to eat; if anyone clothes himself with a garment at the cost of a Muslim's honour, Allah will clothe him with like amount of Jahannam; and if anyone puts himself in a position of reputation and show Allah will disgrace him with a place of reputation and show on the Day of Resurrection.

أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ أَكَلَ بِرَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ أَكْلَةً فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يُطْعِمُهُ مِثْلَهَا مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ وَمَنْ كُسِيَ ثَوْبًا بِرَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَكْسُوهُ مِثْلَهُ مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ وَمَنْ قَامَ بِرَجُلٍ مَقَامَ سُمْعَةٍ وَرِيَاءٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَقُومُ بِهِ مَقَامَ سُمْعَةٍ وَرِيَاءٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

[AI] He informed him, saying, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever eats a meal from a Muslim, Allah will feed him with a meal from the Hellfire on the Day of Judgment. And whoever provides a position for a Muslim, Allah will provide him a position on the Day of Judgment with fame and honor. And whoever clothes a Muslim, Allah will clothe him with a garment from the Hellfire on the Day of Judgment."

أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ أَكَلَ بِمُسْلِمٍ أَكْلَةً أَطْعَمَهُ اللَّهُ بِهَا أَكْلَةً مِنْ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَنْ أَقَامَ بِمُسْلِمٍ مَقَامَ سُمْعَةٍ أَقَامَهُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مَقَامَ سُمْعَةٍ وَرِيَاءٍ وَمَنِ اكْتَسَى بِمُسْلِمٍ ثَوْبًا كَسَاهُ اللَّهُ ثَوْبًا مِنْ نَارِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ»

[AI] He informed him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever feeds a Muslim a meal in this world, Allah will feed him a similar meal in Hell, and whoever clothes a Muslim, Allah will clothe him with a similar garment from Hell, and whoever stands up for a Muslim's position of honor to show off, Allah will make him stand in a position of disgrace and show off."

أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ أَكَلَ بِرَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ أَكْلَةً فِي الدُّنْيَا أَطْعَمَهُ اللهُ مِثْلَهَا فِي جَهَنَّمَ وَمَنْ كُسِيَ بِرَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ ثَوْبًا كَسَاهُ اللهُ مِثْلَهُ مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ وَمَنْ قَامَ بِمُسْلِمٍ مَقَامَ رِيَاءٍ أَقَامَهُ اللهُ مَقَامَ سُمْعَةٍ وَرِيَاءٍ»

"مَنْ أَكَلَ بِأَخِيه الْمُسْلِم أُكْلَةً أَطْعَمهُ الله أُكْلَةً مِنَ النَّارِ، وَمَنْ لَبسَ بِأَخيهِ الْمُسْلِم ثَوْبًا في الدُّنْيَا أَلْبَسَهُ الله يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ثَوْبًا مِن نَار، وَمَنْ سَمَّعَ بِأَخِيهِ الْمُسلِم سَمَّعَ الله بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ".
