"مَثلُ العبدِ المُؤْمن حِينَ يُصِيبُه الْوعْكُ أَو الْحُمَّى، كَمثَل حدِيدة تَدْخلُ النار فَيذْهبُ خبَثُهَا ويبْقَى طِيبُها".
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, the example of a servant when he is afflicted with adversity or fever is like a piece of iron that is put into the fire; its impurities are removed and its goodness remains." Al-Dhahabi did not comment on it in the summary.
