[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When you ask Allah, ask Him with the palms of your hands and do not ask Him with the backs of them, and wipe your faces with them."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا سَأَلْتُمُ اللَّهَ فَاسْأَلُوهُ بِبُطُونِ أَكُفِّكُمْ وَلَا تَسْأَلُوهُ بِظُهُورِهَا وَامْسَحُوا بِهَا وُجُوهَكُمْ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "When you ask Allah, ask Him with the palms of your hands, and do not ask Him with their backs. And wipe your faces with them."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا سَأَلْتُمْ بِاللهِ فَسَلُوهُ بِبُطُونِ أَكُفِّكُمْ وَلَا تَسْأَلُوهُ بِظُهُورِهَا وَامْسَحُوا بِهَا وُجُوهَكُمْ»  

"سَلُوا اللهَ بِبُطُونِ أَكُفَّكُمْ، وَلَا تَسْأَلُوه بِظُهُورِهَا، فَإِذَا فَرغْتُم فَامْسَحُوا بِهَا وُجُوهَكُمْ".  

The Prophet ﷺ said: When you make requests to Allah, do so with the palms of your hands, and not backs, upwards. Abu Dawud said: The narrator Sulaiman b. 'Abd al-Hamid said: according to us Malik b. Yasar was a Companion of the Prophet ﷺ. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1486)   

"إذا سألتم اللهَ فاسألوه ببطون أكُفِّكُمْ ولا تسألوه بظهورها وامسحوا بها وجوهكم" .
