"لَيلَةُ الضَّيفِ حَقٌّ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلم، فَمَنْ أصْبَحَ الضَّيفُ بفنَائه فَهُوَ لَهُ عَلَيهِ دَينٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اقْتَضَى وَإنْ شَاءَ تَرَكَ".
The Prophet ﷺ said: It is a duty of every Muslim (to provide hospitality) to a guest for a night. If anyone comes in the morning to his house, it is a debt due to him. If he wishes, he may fulfil it, and if he wishes he may leave it.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَيْلَةُ الضَّيْفِ حَقٌّ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ فَمَنْ أَصْبَحَ بِفِنَائِهِ فَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ دَيْنٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اقْتَضَى وَإِنْ شَاءَ تَرَكَ
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ' Putting up a guest for one night is obligatory. If you find a guest at your door in the morning, then this (hospitality) is (like) a debt that you (the host) owe him. If he (the guest) wants, he may request it, and if he wants, he may leave it'"
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَيْلَةُ الضَّيْفِ وَاجِبَةٌ فَإِنْ أَصْبَحَ بِفِنَائِهِ فَهُوَ دَيْنٌ عَلَيْهِ فَإِنْ شَاءَ اقْتَضَى وَإِنْ شَاءَ تَرَكَ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard saying: The duty of hospitality is upon every Muslim. If a guest stays in his courtyard and he is unable to provide for him, then it becomes a debt upon him if he wishes, or he may choose to leave it.
سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَيْلَةُ الضَّيْفِ وَاجِبَةٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ فَإِنْ أَصْبَحَ بِفِنَائِهِ مَحْرُومًا كَانَ دَيْنًا لَهُ عَلَيْهِ إِنْ شَاءَ اقْتَضَاهُ وَإِنْ شَاءَ تَرَكَهُ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ لَلَيْلَةُ الضَّيْفِ حَقٌّ وَاجِبَةٌ فَإِنْ أَصْبَحَ بِفِنَائِهِ فَهُوَ لَهُ عَلَيْهِ دَيْنٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اقْتَضَى وَإِنْ شَاءَ تَرَكَ
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ' Putting up a guest for one night is obligatory. [Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "Hosting guests is a mandatory right upon every Muslim. If a guest spends the night in one's courtyard, it becomes a debt upon him to fulfill if he is able, and a choice for him to fulfill or leave if he wishes."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَيْلَةُ الضَّيْفِ حَقٌّ وَاجِبٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ فَإِنْ أَصْبَحَ بِفِنَائِهِ فَهُوَ دَيْنٌ عَلَيْهِ إِنْ شَاءَ اقْتَضَاهُ وَإِنْ شَاءَ تَرَكَهُ»
[Machine] "He heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, 'The night of the guest is a right upon every Muslim, and whoever wakes up with a guest in his courtyard, he has a right or a debt to him if he wishes to fulfill it, and if he wishes, he can leave it.'"
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَيْلَةُ الضَّيْفِ حَقٌّ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ وَمَنْ أَصْبَحَ الضَّيْفُ بِفِنَائِهِ فَهُوَ لَهُ حَقٌّ أَوْ دَيْنٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اقْتَضَاهُ وَإِنْ شَاءَ تَرَكَهُ»
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Hosting guests is a duty upon every Muslim. Whoever begins his morning in his home, then he has a debt upon him, if he wishes, he may fulfill it, and if he wishes, he may leave it."
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَيْلَةُ الضَّيْفِ وَاجِبَةٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ فَمَنْ أَصْبَحَ بِفِنَائِهِ فَهُوَ لَهُ عَلَيْهِ دَيْنٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اقْتَضَى وَإِنْ شَاءَ تَرَكَ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The right of a guest is due to him. If he stays overnight in one's courtyard, then he is entitled to a debt upon the homeowner, if he wishes to demand it, and if he wishes to relinquish it."
