[Machine] An Arabi came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, teach me an action that will admit me to Jannah (Paradise)." He replied, "If you can control the length of your speech, you will have fulfilled the request. Free a slave and remove the burden from the neck of someone in bondage." The Arabi asked, "Are these not the same?" The Prophet replied, "No. Freeing a slave is to free them completely, and removing the burden of someone in bondage is to assist them in freeing themselves. The gift of alms, forgiving debts and supporting those who have been wronged all go to the one who has been oppressed. If you are unable to do these, then feed the hungry and give water to the thirsty. Enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong. If you are unable to do this, then keep silent, except for that which is good."

[Machine] An Arab man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, teach me something that will enter me into Paradise." He said, "If you shorten your speech, you have already fulfilled the request. Free the captive, help the oppressed, give charity to the poor and extend a hand to one in need." The man said, "Isn't there something more specific?" He said, "Indeed, to free a slave girl, to contribute towards her ransom, to offer a gift to a relative who does not treat you kindly, and to provide sustenance to the hungry. And enjoin what is good and forbid what is evil. And if you cannot endure that, then refrain from speaking anything except what is good."

[Machine] An Arab man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, teach me a deed that will admit me into Paradise." The Prophet ﷺ replied, "If you shorten your speech, you have already fulfilled the request. Freeing a slave and removing the burden of a slave's neck are acts of righteousness. The freeing of the soul is when you grant freedom to a slave without expecting anything in return, and removing the burden of the neck is when you give a slave as a gift without accepting any payment. And the charitable gift is when you give to one who has severed their ties of kinship. If you cannot do that, then feed the hungry, give water to the thirsty, enjoin what is good, and forbid what is evil. And if you cannot do that, then restrain your tongue from speaking anything except good."

[Machine] An Arab man came to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and said, "O Messenger of Allah, inform me of a deed that will admit me into Paradise." The Prophet responded, "If you shorten your speech, you have already fulfilled the requirement. Free a slave, and help in the payment of the slave's price. Are these two equal actions?" The man asked. The Prophet replied, "Freeing a slave is better for you to excel in, and helping in the payment of a slave's price is better for you to assist in. The granting of a loan and the waiving of a debt is upon the oppressor. And feed the hungry and visit the sick." The man asked, "What if I am not able to do that?" The Prophet said, "Then enjoin good and forbid evil." The man asked, "What if I cannot do that?" The Prophet said, "Refrain from speaking except for goodness related to the Hadith of Abu Dawud."
