ذِكْرُ الْخِصَالِ الَّتِي إِذَا اسْتَعْمَلَهَا الْمَرْءُ أَوْ بَعْضَهَا كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ
[Machine] An Arab man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, teach me a deed that will admit me into Paradise." The Prophet ﷺ replied, "If you shorten your speech, you have already fulfilled the request. Freeing a slave and removing the burden of a slave's neck are acts of righteousness. The freeing of the soul is when you grant freedom to a slave without expecting anything in return, and removing the burden of the neck is when you give a slave as a gift without accepting any payment. And the charitable gift is when you give to one who has severed their ties of kinship. If you cannot do that, then feed the hungry, give water to the thirsty, enjoin what is good, and forbid what is evil. And if you cannot do that, then restrain your tongue from speaking anything except good."
