the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "My ummah will continue in goodness so long as they hasten to break their fast and delay their suḥūr (pre-fasting meal)."  

أحمد:٢١٣١٢ – حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ غَيْلَانَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ الْحِمْصِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تَزَالُ أُمَّتِي بِخَيْرٍ مَا عَجَّلُوا الْإِفْطَارَ وَأَخَّرُوا السُّحُورَ  

ahmad:24213 – Ibn Jaʿfar > Shuʿbah > Sulaymān > Khaythamah

[Machine] He said, "He hastens the iftar (meal at sunset to break the fast) and delays the suhoor (pre-dawn meal before starting the fast)."  

أحمد:٢٤٢١٣ – حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ خَيْثَمَةَ
