Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There will be afflictions (in the near future) during which a sitting person will be better than a standing one, and the standing one will be better than the walking one, and the walking one will be better than the running one, and whoever will expose himself to these afflictions, they will destroy him. So whoever can find a place of protection or refuge from them, should take shelter in it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ سَتَكُونُ فِتَنٌ الْقَاعِدُ فِيهَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْقَائِمِ وَالْقَائِمُ فِيهَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْمَاشِي وَالْمَاشِي فِيهَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ السَّاعِي مَنْ تَشَرَّفَ لَهَا تَسْتَشْرِفْهُ فَمَنْ وَجَدَ فِيهَا مَلْجَأً أَوْ مَعَاذًا فَلْيَعُذْ بِهِ

There will be soon a period of turmoil in which the one who sits will be better than one who stands and the one who stands will be better than one who walks and the one who walks will be better than one who runs. He who would watch them will be drawn by them. So he who finds a refuge or shelter against it should make it as his resort.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ سَتَكُونُ فِتَنٌ الْقَاعِدُ فِيهَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْقَائِمِ وَالْقَائِمُ فِيهَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْمَاشِي وَالْمَاشِي فِيهَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ السَّاعِي مَنْ تَشَرَّفَ لَهَا تَسْتَشْرِفُهُ وَمَنْ وَجَدَ فِيهَا مَلْجَأً فَلْيَعُذْ بِهِ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "There will be tribulation; the one sitting in it is better than the one standing, the one standing in it is better than the one walking, and the one walking in it is better than the one hurrying." He said: I think he also said: "And the one lying down in it is better than the one sitting."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: «سَتَكُونُ فِتْنَةٌ، الْقَاعِدُ فِيهَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْقَائِمِ، وَالْقَائِمُ فِيهَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْمَاشِي، وَيَكُونُ الْمَاشِي فِيهَا خَيْرًا مِنَ السَّاعِي». قَالَ: وَأُرَاهُ قَالَ: «وَالْمُضْطَجِعُ فِيهَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْقَاعِدِ».

[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ, he said, "There will be a time of tribulation in which the one who is asleep is better than the one who is sitting, and the one who is sitting is better than the one who is standing, and the one who is standing is better than the one who is walking, and the one who is walking is better than the one who is riding."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «سَتَكُونُ فِتْنَةٌ النَّائِمُ فِيهَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْقَاعِدِ وَالْقَاعِدُ فِيهَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْمَاشِيِ وَالْمَاشِي فِيهَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ السَّاعِيِ وَالسَّاعِي خَيْرٌ مِنَ الرَّاكِبِ»

"إنِّى لأَعْلَمُ فتْنَةً عَمْيَاءَ صَمَّاءَ، النَّائِمُ فِيهَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الجَالِسِ، والجَالِسُ فيهَا خيرٌ مِنَ القَائِم، والْقَائمُ فيهَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْمَاشِى، والْمَاشِى فيهَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ السَّاعِى" .

"تَكُونُ فِتْنَةٌ، القاعدُ فيها خَيْرٌ مِنَ القائِم، والقاِئمُ فيها خَيْرٌ من

الماشى، والماشى فيها خير منَ السَّاعِى، والسَّاعى في النَّارِ، فَإِنْ أَدركتَ ذلك فكن عبدَ اللَّه المقتولَ، ولا تكن عبد اللَّه القاتِلَ".

"سَتكُونُ فِتَنٌ: القاعِدُ فيها خَيْرٌ منَ القائِم، والقائِمُ فيها خَيْرٌ من الماشى، والماشى فيها خيرٌ من السَّاعِى، من تَشَرَّف لها تَسْتَشْرِفْهُ، وَمَن وَجَدَ فيها مَلْجأً أَوْ معاذًا فَليَعُذْ بِهِ".

"سَتَكُونُ فِتْنَةٌ: النَّائِم فيها خَيْرٌ مِنَ القاعِدِ، والقاعد فيها خَيرٌ من الْمَاشِى، والْمَاشِى فيها خَيْرٌ من السَّاعِى، والساعى خيرٌ من الراكب".

"ستَكُونُ فتْنَةٌ، بكْماء، عمْياء، صمَّاء، الْمضْطجع فيهَا خَيْرٌ منَ الْقَاعد، والْقَاعد فيها خَيْرٌ منَ الْقَائمِ، والْقَائم فيهَا خَيْرٌ من الْماشى، والْماشى فيهَا خَيْرٌ من السَّاعى، فَمنْ أَبى فَلْيَمْدُدْ عنُقَه".
