"Abu Quhafah was brought on the Day of the Conquest of Makkah, and his hair and beard were white like the Thaghamah. The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Change this with something, but avoid black.'"
أُتِيَ بِأَبِي قُحَافَةَ يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ وَرَأْسُهُ وَلِحْيَتُهُ كَالثَّغَامَةِ بَيَاضًا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ غَيِّرُوا هَذَا بِشَىْءٍ وَاجْتَنِبُوا السَّوَادَ
أُتِيَ بِأَبِي قُحَافَةَ يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ وَرَأْسُهُ وَلِحْيَتُهُ كَالثَّغَامَةِ بَيَاضًا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ غَيِّرُوا هَذَا بِشَىْءٍ وَاجْتَنِبُوا السَّوَادَ
"Abu Quhafah was brought to the Messenger of Allah [SAW] and his head and beard were white like the Thaghamah. The Prophet [SAW] said: 'Change this, or dye it.'"

[Machine] "Abu Quhafa came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the day of the Fath (Conquest of Mecca), his head appearing like a white thrush. He said, "Change it and keep away the black color from it."
أُتِيَ بِأَبِي قُحَافَةَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ كَأَنَّ رَأْسَهُ ثَغَامَةٌ بَيْضَاءُ فَقَالَ غَيِّرُوهُ وَجَنِّبُوهُ السَّوَادَ
[Machine] On the day of the conquest, the Prophet ﷺ brought Abu Quhafa, and his head and beard were gray. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Dye his beard." Adh-Dhahabi remained silent about it in his summary.

"عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: أُتِىَ يَوْمَ الفَتْحِ بِأَبِى قُحَافَةَ لِيُبَايِعَ وَإنَّ رَأسَهُ وَلِحْيَتَهُ كالثَّغَامَةِ، فَقالَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ غيِّرُوهُ بِشَئٍ".
