"There is no person who kills a small bird or anything larger for no just reason, but Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, will ask him about it." It was said: "O Messenger of Allah, what does just reason;' mean?" Her said: "That you slaughter it and eat it, and do not cut off its head and throw it aside."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَا مِنْ إِنْسَانٍ قَتَلَ عُصْفُورًا فَمَا فَوْقَهَا بِغَيْرِ حَقِّهَا إِلاَّ سَأَلَهُ اللَّهُ ﷻ عَنْهَا قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَا حَقُّهَا قَالَ يَذْبَحُهَا فَيَأْكُلُهَا وَلاَ يَقْطَعُ رَأْسَهَا يَرْمِي بِهَا  

[Machine] The translation of the provided text in Arabic is:

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Whoever kills a bird without right, Allah will ask him about it on the Day of Judgment.' It was asked, 'O Messenger of Allah, what is its right?' He replied, 'He should slaughter it, but not take its neck and cut it off.'"  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ قَتَلَ عُصْفُورًا بغير حقِّه سَأَلَهُ اللهُ عَنْهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَمَا حَقُّهُ؟ قَالَ يَذْبَحُهُ ذَبْحًا وَلَا يَأْخُذُ بِعُنُقِهِ فَيَقْطَعُهُ  

[Machine] The Prophet of Allahﷺ said, "Whoever kills a little bird without right, Allah Almighty will ask him about it on the Day of Judgment." It was asked, "What is its right?" He said, "He should kill it with a good slaughter and not capture it by its neck and cut it off."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ ذَبَحَ عُصْفُورًا بِغَيْرِ حَقِّهِ سَأَلَهُ اللهُ ﷻ عَنْهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ قِيلَ وَمَا حَقُّهُ؟ قَالَ يَذْبَحُهُ ذَبْحًا وَلَا يَأْخُذُ بِعُنُقِهِ فَيَقْطَعَهُ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever kills a bird without just cause, Allah will question him about his killing." It was said: "O Messenger of Allah, what is its just cause?" He said: "To slaughter it and eat it, and not to cut off its head and throw it away." Ash-Shafi'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade chasing after birds."  

رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ قَتَلَ عُصْفُورًا فَمَا فَوْقَهَا بِغَيْرِ حَقِّهَا سَأَلَهُ اللهُ عَنْ قَتْلِهِ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَمَا حَقُّهَا؟ قَالَ أَنْ تَذْبَحَهَا فَتَأْكُلَهَا وَلَا تَقْطَعَ رَأْسَهَا فَتَرْمِيَ بِهَا قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ وَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْمَصْبُورَةِ  

"There is no person who kills a small bird or anything larger for no just reason, but Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, will ask him about it." It was said: "O Messenger of Allah, what does just reason;' mean?" Her said: "That you slaughter it and eat it, and do not cut off its head and throw it aside." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4349)   

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ قَتَلَ عُصْفُورًا بِغَيْرِ حَقِّهِ سَأَلَهُ اللهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَنْهُ قِيلَ وَمَا حَقُّهُ؟ قَالَ يَذْبَحُهُ فَيَأْكُلُهُ وَلَا يَقْطَعُ رَأْسَهُ فَيَرْمِي بِهِ  

"منْ قَتلَ عُصْفُورًا بِغَير حَقِّهِ، سَأَلَهُ الله تَعَالى عَنْهُ يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ، قَالُوا: وَمَا حَقُّهُ؟ قَال: يَذْبَحُهُ ذَبْحًا وَلا يَأخُذْ بعُنُقِهِ فَيَقْطَعَهُ".  

"مَا مِنْ إِنْسَانٍ يَقْتُلُ عُصْفُورًا فَمَا فَوْقَهَا بِغَيرِ حَقِّها، إلا يَسْأل اللهُ عَنْهَا يَومَ القِيَامَةِ، قِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَمَا حَقّهَا؟ قَال: أَنْ يَذْبَحَها وَيَأكلَهَا وَلَا يَقْطَعَ رَأسَهَا فَيَرمى بِهَا".
