Blessings and virtues of Ramadan

nasai:2106 – Bishr b. Hilāl > ʿAbd al-Wārith > Ayyūb > Abū Qilābah > Abū Hurayrah

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Ramadan has come to you, a blessed month. Allah ﷻ has made fasting in it obligatory upon you. In it the gates of heaven are opened, the gates of Hell are closed, and the rebellious devils are chained. In it Allah has a night that is better than a thousand months; whoever is deprived of its goodness has truly been deprived.”

النسائي:٢١٠٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ هِلاَلٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

“Ramadan began, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘This month has come to you, and in it there is a night that is better than a thousand months. Whoever is deprived of it is deprived of all goodness, and no one is deprived of its goodness except one who is truly deprived.’”
