[Machine] Ibn 'Umar used to be given raisins for dinner, but he would drink them in the morning. He would also be given raisins for breakfast, but he would drink them in the evening.  

الكبرى للنسائي:٦٨٢٣أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ قَالَ

كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ «يُنْبَذُ لَهُ الزَّبِيبُ عِشَاءً فَيَشْرَبُهُ غُدْوَةً وَيُنْبَذُ لَهُ غُدْوَةً فَيَشْرَبُهُ عِشَاءً»

We prepared Nabidh for Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a waterskin, the upper part of which was tied and it (the waterskin) had a hole (in its lower part). We prepared the Nabidh in the morning and he drank it in the evening and we prepared the Nabidh in the night, and he would drink it in the morning.

كُنَّا نَنْبِذُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي سِقَاءٍ يُوكَى أَعْلاَهُ وَلَهُ عَزْلاَءُ نَنْبِذُهُ غُدْوَةً فَيَشْرَبُهُ عِشَاءً وَنَنْبِذُهُ عِشَاءً فَيَشْرَبُهُ غُدْوَةً

"I asked Abu Ja'far about Nabidh and he said: " 'Ali bin Husain, may Allah be pleased with him, would have Nabidh made for him at night, and he would drink it in the morning, and he would have Nabidh made in the morning and he would drink it at night.'"  

النسائي:٥٧٤١أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدٌ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ بَسَّامٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ

Dates were steeped for the Apostel of Allah ﷺ in skin which was tied up at the top and had a mouth. What was steeped in the morning he would drink in the evening and what was steeped in the evening he would drink in the morning.
