[Machine] When this verse was revealed to the Prophet ﷺ , "Indeed, We have granted you, [O Muhammad], a clear conquest that Allah may forgive for you what preceded of your sin and what will follow and complete His favor upon you and guide you to a straight path" [Surah Al-Fath, verse 2], he inquired from where the revelation came. The people answered from Hudaibiya, and they were feeling sadness and grief. The sacrifice had been slaughtered in Hudaibiya, so he said, "Certainly an Ayah has been revealed to me that is more beloved to me than the entire world." They asked, "O Messenger of Allah, we have known what will happen to you, but what will happen to us?" So, the verse was revealed, "That He may admit the believing men and the believing women to gardens beneath which rivers flow to abide therein eternally and remove from them their misdeeds – and ever is that, in the sight of Allah, a great attainment" [Surah Al-Fath, verse 5] to the statement, "a great reward" [Surah An-Nisa, verse 73]. The wording is for Amr.

When they (Companions of the Holy Prophet) were overwhelmed with grief and distress on his return from Hudaibiya where he had slaughtered his sacrificial beasts (not being allowed to proceed to Mecca), the Qur'anic verse: Inna fatahna... laka fathan mobinan to fauzan 'aziman, was revealed to him. (At this) he said: On me has descended a verse that is dearer to me than the whole world.

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ received the revelation, "Indeed, We have granted you a clear victory," [Quran 48:1], until the end of the verse, which was revealed in Al-Hudaybiyah. The Prophet ﷺ and his companions were saddened and distressed. He said, "A verse has been revealed to me that is dearer to me than the entire world and everything in it." When he recited it, a man from the people said, "Congratulations! May Allah show you what He will do with you. What will He do with us?" Then Allah revealed the verse that comes after it, "That Allah may admit the believing men and the believing women to gardens beneath which rivers flow" [Quran 48:5], until the end of the verse.

[Machine] "When this verse was revealed to the Prophet ﷺ , 'Indeed, We have granted you a clear conquest, so that Allah may forgive you your past and future sins' [Surah Al-Fath 2], he referred it to the people of Hudaybiyyah who were sad and distressed. He had just sacrificed the animals in Hudaybiyyah and said, 'Indeed, a verse has been revealed which is more beloved to me than the whole world.' They asked, 'O Messenger of Allah, we know what will happen to you, but what will happen to us?' So Allah revealed, 'So that He may admit the believing men and believing women to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally and remove from them their evil deeds. And that is, in the sight of Allah, a great achievement' [Surah Al-Fath 5]. Abdul Wahhab mentioned this narration and his companions were distressed and sad. He said, 'Congratulations and reward to you, O Messenger of Allah. Allah has revealed what will happen to you.'"

[Machine] It was revealed to the Prophet ﷺ upon his return from Hudaybiyah, and his companions were mixed with sadness and gloom as there was a barrier between them and their rituals. They sacrificed the animals in Hudaybiyah, "Indeed, We have granted you, [O Muhammad], a clear conquest." (Surah Al-Fath, verse 1) until his statement, "Straight Path." (Surah An-Nisa, verse 68). He said, "Indeed, two verses were revealed to me that are dearer to me than the entire world." When he recited them, a man said, "Congratulations, O Prophet of Allah! Allah has made clear to you what He wills for you. So what will He do with us?" So Allah revealed the verse that follows, "That Allah may admit the believing men and the believing women to Gardens beneath which rivers flow." (Surah Al-Fath, verse 5), until the end of the verse.

[Machine] When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned from Hudaybiyah, this verse was revealed: "Indeed, We have given you a clear conquest that Allah may forgive for you what preceded of your sin and what will follow and complete His favor upon you and guide you to a straight path." [Quran 48:1-2]. The Muslims said, "O Messenger of Allah, congratulations on what Allah has given you! But what about us?" So this verse was revealed: "That He may admit the believing men and believing women to gardens beneath which rivers flow to abide therein eternally and remove from them their misdeeds - and ever is that, in the sight of Allah, a great achievement." [Quran 48:5].
