"Indeed Allah Most High says: 'I am as My slave thinks of Me, and I am with him when He calls upon Me.'"  

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Ḥasan-Ṣaḥīḥ.

[Machine] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said, "Indeed, Allah, the Exalted and Sublime, says, 'I am as My servant thinks of Me. If he thinks good of Me, he will have it. And if he thinks evil of Me, he will have it.'"  

ابن حبّان:٦٣٩ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلْمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ وَذَكَرَ ابْنُ سَلْمٍ آخَرَ مَعَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا يُونُسَ حَدَّثَهُمْ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ اللَّهَ جَلَّ وَعَلَا يَقُولُ أَنَا عِنْدَ ظَنِّ عَبْدِي بِي إِنْ ظَنَّ خَيْرًا فَلَهُ وَإِنْ ظَنَّ شَرًّا فَلَهُ»

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ قَالَ اللهُ «أَنَا عِنْدَ ظَنِّ عَبْدِي بِي»

Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said that Allah Almighty said, "I am according to My slave's opinion of Me, and I am with him when He calls on Me.'"
